I always appreciated how Predator unapologetically went straight for the jugular by copying the theme from JAWS it just made sense to do it!

Close your eyes think of Predator then listen from 1:06 to 2:00.

JAWS ost is so iconic that's it's instantly recognizable anywhere. The main theme is up there with the Superman, SW and JP themes with John Williams at his peak. The end song when Brody and Hooper swim to shore is beautiful as well.

Saying that, Predator still has a great ost. Even the Alien films (apart from 3) don't really have that amazing soundtracks IMO. Billy's theme us one is the most manliest and adrenaline pumping. :lecture

This song plays whenever jye has to stand up to his wife, and he has the same fate as poor Billy. :lol

Jaws really only has one core theme that doesn't really deviate too far from that. The entire score is built around it, where as in Predator there's very different tracks within it that all sound different, but at the same time share the same genetic makeup, if that makes sense. A lot of shares drums, but all are very individual from each other.

The trap building scene and score.... if testosterone was a sound.

1:02

I see it. Yeah... I see it.

Welp, now we can add "aural skills" to the list of things Jye lacks. :lol

What's with the new ads on the side of the page? Is this whole forum going to become one big ad?

Drives me nuts. I can't imagine what a mess this site looks like for non-premium members. But as a paying member, I don't expect to see things like that without fair warning.

I wonder how long this site can survive? Most things end. Look at IHOP. I do wonder when the volume of incoming newbs will become less than the outgoing veterans.
