P2 was released in 1990, its plot took place in 1997.
Attachments were added to police handguns to give them "futuristic" aesthetic.

The only dumb thing was addin' laser sight to Harrigan's semi-auto shotgun.

The CG FX were decent, everything else - not even close to the level of original two films.


Great cast wasted on poorly directed boring characters.
Fatburn was the only memorable part.


They looked fake as ****.
"Classic Perdator" couldn't even close his mandibles correctly. The cringe...


I ask for the level of P2 and nothing less.

You seem to be confusing my comments as to what I wish to see as my opinion of Predators. I don't think it holds a candle to P1 or P2, but it wasn't bad at all, I quite enjoyed it in fact, and again, that is all I really expect from the new one... With good creature designs thrown in.

It's still s shame that we never got a Predator 3 movie made in the early '90's. It would have been good to have seen what plans they had for future stories and we would have got another decent Predator design/suit too.
