You're right though. I'd actually be more annoyed if Ridley was getting tainted by playing some bimbo "scientist" in a Predator movie so in that sense she would indeed have been a "worse" choice than Munn. Good call!

In all seriousness I don't see Boyega getting more than bit parts here and there but if Ridley plays her cards right I could see her following Keira Knightley's "action hero" career (POTC, King Arthur, Domino) at the very least. If she's lucky she might even follow Knightley's dramatic career.

Perhaps, but in this creatively bankrupt industry, killing the mystery by "exploring" would be much worse.

The coolest thing about predator 2 was the ending with the ship and the predators showing up.

Elder is a fan favorite. He was in the movie for less than a minute yet he became instantly memorable
Fans lose their mind when that alien skull showed up as well... regardless of how bad avp turned out to be, back then that alien skull was very cool.

Even for AVP, the coolest part that everyone likes is the flashback with the ancient preds killing the horde of aliens and the sacrifice of the girls.
The movie itself was dumb but those flashbacks were great.

Regardless of how bad avp turned out when elder and the alien skull showed up in p2 everyone was excited.

Predator 2 added to the lore amd introduced new things about the pred background and added new preds and it was good.
