I'm amazed by all the versions of Frank in this thread. I'd love a Ray version to go with my preordered DX TDK Batman & Joker, but I doubt I would have the money needed.

I'll just have to live with my Marvel Masterpiece version.

Ok, had another look at my final work of the Amnur piece, & I'm not happy with my painting. I've prepped my second head & will begin to airbrush tomorrow. I want the piece to be perfect. Not just good or ok. Sorry folks. I was hoping to post tonight but I really don't like what I've done. Amnurs sculpt is amazing & should be presented as such.

I really want to nail it. I showed my bro the unpainted piece & he instantly said "is that the dude that plays Titus?"

Amnur, I'm gonna seriously try to nail this. Been snagging screen caps to get the various tones right.

I wish I knew what the H I did the first time, the paint ended up liking like painted over fine sand. I've airbrushed for years & never saw anything like this. What I think it was is that the air pressure was to high & it dried before it hit the piece.

Anyway, on to phase 2 tonight after another monster work out. I think I'll either listen to the sound track or the film itself while painting.

I may give up on re0doing the damn vest. It's really getting to me already.

fast update, clear coat drying. 4 layers of shading & discovered a new technique. Tomorrow, plan to add some blush tones as well as the shades around the eyes. Now I'm sure I can replicate the results.

Fast update

clear coat drying (seems like the only time I log in is when it's drying) After several layers of flesh tones, I think I've achieved the depth I want. Need to move onto the hair & stubble.

Amnur, what's next after Wolverine? I'm gonna need that Hugh head as well by the way.

Anyway, back to Ray
I need to install Magiccs neck piece. It looks significantly better than my original. More proportionate

Final clear coat drying, just have to gloss the eyes & install the head. Very pleased with the results. Will try to post images tonight or tomorrow.
