I can make the holes without problems. It fits on Hot toys and G3 body.
Doesn't need any neck conector.

Just to remember...that the pic above is from a crude copy ok? Not final.

Looks good so far Amnur! If you could drill the hole in the neck on mine that would be great. When do we send you payments?

Hi here's the new pics:

DSC01200.jpg

The first five are with bubble problems (useless) :(
The last three are ready to drill.
But I finally discovered how to cast without bubles. It takes much more time.

I got to go, it's 23pm here and I've got to work tomorrow, so I'll continue this work tomorrow night ok guys?

Punisher75, I'll send you my paypal details when I finish this work, and when it's ready to ship.

Is that ok for you guys?
Oh man, I need to sleep....

Ps:. Just let me know if you guys any concerns about this.
Ps:.2:. I'll drill all necks ok? In which body do you guys plan to use it?

Get some sleep, I know what it's like.

Woohoo! Amazing job, can't wait to start on this custom. Also very interested to see the other two you have planned. :D

Hi guys.
Here's my 4th attempt.

DSC01197.jpg

All of previously attempts are getting bubbles. Like this one, on the nose and under the jaw...
Another thing, what about the neck hole? Does you guys will make it by yourself, or do you want I make it?

Hi Amnur,
what kind of resin are you using??

I have some tips for removing the bubble holes, but I can not explain very well in English, if you're interested I can try to explain to you how I solve this problem

Hell yeah man!
I'm using a crystal resin (pure) + Flexible Resin (To be resistant to falling damage)

Thank you!

OK lets start (sorry for the bad english je je)
Just remember that I am talking about products that are in Mexico, it is necessary to find equivalent products in EU or others countries.

I prefer to use two-component polyurethane resin (A + B) and add a bit of powdered calcite, calcite powder makes the resin becomes highly resistant to impacts.

This type of resin in the liquid state is very fluid and easily fill the small details of the mold, and let out the air bubbles to the surface faster.

The way I do the casting of the resin is as follows:

First add in the mold a bit of talcum powder for babies. talc absorbs the liquid resin and delivers a better distribution and filling of the mold in addition to giving the piece a matte finish and a better surface for painting, it is important not to use too much powder, and distribute within the mold using a soft brush to form a uniform and very thin layer of talc.

NEXT

I prepared a small amount of resin, and formed a first layer of resin.
I start a process I call "MANUAL ROTOCAST", rotating the mold in all directions allowing the resin is evenly distributed throughout the mold cavity. Once this process is finished and if I notice some bubbles or that there are parts that can not easily filled, use a small piece of wire to force the filling, this is great to avoid air bubbles in the nose, ears or very small details.

Is important to note that the resin hardens in just 3.5 minutes (at least the resin that I use) is sufficient time for this process, but better get used to working fast (MEEP MEEP!)

NEXT

Must prepare the rest of the resin and finish filling the mold, it is not necessary that the first layer resin is completely hardened, the resin should always flush slowly and steadily to avoid turbulence in the liquid that is which air bubbles form and finally a few light blows to the mold filled with resin also helps to eliminate air bubbles

Finally I would like to advise that try to make the molds in one piece, you can make a complete mold and cut with a knife by the back of the head with this avoids lines and burrs union or at least disguise
Look at pictures of the mold and the piece of resin, as you can see I have no air bubbles or marks union (although the texture helps me a lot), and note the matte finish. (tomorrow I upload photos from the mold, I want to go to bed zzzzzzz)

I hope this information helps you with your project is a great sculpture, I would like to purchase one of your PUNISHER headsculpts, What is the cost?

Best regards

Thank you Beto. I've already done that layer stuff, but I didn't know about the babie talcum powder. That's was a great tip man! I'll try it.
Thank you so much!
:chew

Ps:. The head is $32, and the shipping I have to check.

Thank you so much!
