Re: How has the flu season been for you?

It's a cocktail party and you're all invited!

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

Actually, the ones who had the FULL dose aren't getting that sick, it's the ones who have only had ONE dose or none at all that are having the harder time. And it's because some didn't get it at all that they are sick to begin with.

There is no proof that vaccines were responsible. Many babies have been killed by vaccines or have been caused to have autism or other developmental problems or illness.
"seven of the sickened students had both doses". Not very effective. The vaccine didn't protect.

The fact that other people didn't get vaccinated did not cause the vaccinated to get sick to begin with.
Gee, a vaccine that only works when there is no virus around to infect them with in the first place. That's as useful getting no vaccine at all.
That's like making bulletproof vests out of a sheet of paper. As long as you don't get shot, a bullet won't go through! Wow, that's a really effective bulletproof vest.

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

What matters is how sick they got. Not very. I suspect that how sick they got ultimately depended on their overall health, but that their system knew what to expect, they did not have to endure the life or death risk of a full, initial infection.

Vaccination also makes it unlikely that a person will pick up the disease from their environment. They need another person to give it to them.

It's embarassing how basic this is.

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

Straw man buttressed by ignorance, false alternatives, and ideological rationalism. Plato and Kant would be proud.

Incidentally, this is why no one takes you seriously. It has nothing to do with mainstream brainwashing. You're just full of **** and most people (being far better than you give them credit for, being that your ethics and view of human nature are utterly warped) can smell you coming a mile away.

The alternatives aren't false. They are very real. Healthy living supports health. healthy living requires healthy diet.
The immune system won't work as well unless a healthy diet is eaten. Logic should tell you that. In people's minds they might believe what you eat makes no difference, but the body doesn't care. The body can only do things as well as the nutrition given to it allows.

My view of human nature isn't warped at all. It's based upon what I have seem and experienced from people growing up.
Human beings do tend to exploit each other by nature. They exploit animals by eating them without any need, because they like the taste, and they make things out of their body parts for fashion.

The egregious profits made by major corporations are exploitative too.
Since you don't understand why it's evil, and exploitative, I'll explain it to you.

50 years ago, the CEO used to make 20 times what the lowest paid employee made, and so the lowest paid employee made a living wage so that they could support themselves and their families, so long as they were frugal. They could even own their own home.
Now CEOs make 250 times what the lowest paid employee makes, by diverting the percentage of the money that made a living wage to the lowest paid, to the CEOs.

People need to live to work, so in this situation, either the government must pick up the slack with welfare for those underpaid employees OR those employees must commit crime on order to get enough money to make ends meet.
Therefore, crime is up, and more prisons are built.

People get desperate and when they can't get enough to live on by following the rules, then they resort to getting their needs met by not following the rules. People will do what they must to survive.

Some people realize that they will never make a living wage doing what their skills allow them to do, so they don't even try to enter the legal workforce. They commit crime to support themselves from the beginning.

You might say, well then they should get an education to get a better job. Ok, interesting. That is only possible when there are enough of those jobs available. There aren't. That is why a lot of college grads can't get those great paying jobs, despite having spent all that time and money going to college, or taking out loans to do so, and now they are in debt.
They struggle to pay off their student debt, with a low paying job, and so they move back in with their parents or get welfare.

You see, even if EVERYONE got a great education and developed great skill that would pay well, there are only so many jobs that DO pay that well, because there are only so many people NEEDED to do THAT kind of labor in society.
MOST other jobs in society, which NEED to be done in order for it to operate, are low skill, low education jobs.

It has ALWAYS been like that, in all of history, and it always will be exactly that way.

You either haven't considered all this, or you don't care that a minimum wage that is lower than a living wage causes welfare at the expense of the taxpayer, and crime at the expense of law abiding citizens, and prisons at the expense of the taxpayer.

You don't care about the inevitable violence and murder that results. Drugs are up, human trafficking is up, burglary is up, even to the point of carjacking, all to let these CEOs make so much profit for themselves.
When these CEOs make business mistakes, the govt., yes, once again, the taxpayer pays for THEIR mistakes with a bailout. That way, it doesn't come out of the CEOs pockets, so that they stay just as rich as they always were.
Bank bailouts, car company bail outs, ect. If people don't make enough money, they can't buy cars, can they? That money is going directly to the CEOs.

Savings and loan scandal with "too big to fail" being bailed out. Taxpayer expense. Do taxpayers even HAVE that much money to bail them out? No, they don't. Where is the money coming from? Quantitative easing., Printing money out of thin air, inflation. It causes debt.

That's why the govt shut down a few months back due to lack of funds. The politicians are in the big corporations pockets, so they do what they want.
That's FASCISM.

In short, higher crime and drug use and violence and the national debt as well as other forms of debt, is all caused by corporations like Wal mart and Mc Donalds not paying a living wage. That's exploitation and it's called normal. That lends strong credence to my contention that the nature of human beings is to exploit each other. Those who have the power to do so, do it in spades, AND get the government to help them.

What good is a vaccine if it doesn't protect you from someone who has it?

UN-vaccinated healthy people get polio. what's your point?

When doctors diagnose polio, they consider whether a person was vaccinated against it. If the person was vaccinated, the doctor dismisses polio as a possibility whether they have it or not. They call it another disease, like Aseptic meningitis.

Is it allergies or just dryness? My mother gets bloody noses due to the dryness in the winter. The furnace will do it to her. Have you tried saline sprays?

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

it is allergies to the pollen everywhere. Sometimes I might be okay but I go out and I start to sneeze a lot, Sometimes like 15 times in a row until my ribs start to hurt... But I don't like taking allergy medicine because it always makes me really sleepy and drowsy.

The United States wasn't socialist 50 years ago when CEOs made 20 times and not 250 times what their lowest paid employee makes, so it would be incorrect to say that to return to that would be socialism.
It would be capitalism, just not the vulture capitalism that there is today, that has put the U.S. in debt. The U.S. wasn't in debt 50 years ago.
