Re: How has the flu season been for you?

And then there are people who make perfectly sound arguments and receive nothing in response but socialist propaganda, as though it has something to do with scientific fact. Far be it for them to look at the opposition and recognize that it deserves anything more than rotten vegetables and a stage hook.

I look at the opposition and simply do not agree with it....I have more FAITH in God given healing methods through Food/Nutrition than trusting in and relying on Man-made chemicals and drugs to make one better.

A video of interest.While I don't support Infowars,this video is very good

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

As long as you know that your beliefs are grounded in faith and not reason. The Reverend has trouble coming to terms with that one.

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

I just wish those idiots cared enough to do their job. They are getting so much of my money already and when i go to a doctor It makes me feel like im some peasant or something, Half the time they won't even listen to all the problems you have. I might be suffering from different things but after the first one they stop giving a --
I hate that.

I suggest you get a different doctor then. I love my doctor.

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

that is one reason why Medical Care is the 3rd leading cause of Death ;) You say that like it's perfectly OKAY to take people's money, misdiagnose them and make a mistake when it comes to someone's health...

why don't you research it yourself? because you're lazy, you won't....there are PLENTY of sources that are saying the same thing (with proof). :dunno

lets go full bullcrap, shall we? i find your lack of FAITH disturbing. how come other tinfolks swear by medical care is the numbah 1 leading cause of death compared to you standing by 3rd leading cause of death?:lol
if you stand by that "belief", do you solemnly believe people go to hospitals to die? LOLzzzz

unfortunately, the sky is still blue and bullcrap is still y'know...bullcrap.

because of your inability to read..top 3 causes of Death

1.Diabetes 2. Cancer 3. Medical Care....... So as you can(not) see,all 3 are related in some way

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

you think repeating those 3 in order makes a difference tinfolk? its still bullcrap.

what, like it took overnight to to reach that top spot? lolz

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

I'm just impressed by the degree of the evasion involved in equating medical care with professional negligence/incompetence or the natural failure of a body with a compromised immune system. Almost as funny as equating vaccination with being impervious to infection.

Meh, I'm fine. I take at least 2,000mgs of Vitamin C a day and get sick once a year. No flu for me in the last 5 years and I don't get the shot, though I would if I had a doctor.

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

I think you are very lucky :(

I am. My doctor kinda looks like Dana Carvy and has a great sense of humor. He's also a pharmacist and his special interests are natural drugs and health fraud. When I didn't have insurance he did all he could to help me save money.

yeah.... I don't even think this is possible here lol :lol in my experience is always the opposite.

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

Fun thread, everyone!

I eat healthy, I exercise, I take my vitamins... and I ended up with the flu.

The first week or so I thought it was just the common cold, but one morning I woke up and could barely get out of bed. I ended up going to see my doctor (yes, I have one), and he told me I had the flu. I was seriously ill for the next week and it took me another two to fully recover. I hadn't been that sick in over 20 years.

I think age plays a big factor for me. When I was younger I'd get over a cold in just a few days. Now it seems to take me forever. So I recommend not aging if you want to stay healthy.

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

Letter to the editor in today's Sydney Morning Herald:

"Adding to comments on vaccination conscientious objectors (Letters, March 27), here's a reality check: acquaint yourselves with one of our living polio victims who unfortunately missed initial vaccination programs, and, know that disabling and fatal polio infection historically occurred in affluent communities.

My mother contracted polio at 23, during the 1956 epidemic, while she was pregnant with my brother. This caused partial paralysis requiring a leg caliper and years of physiotherapy and rehabilitation. While fortunate compared with those left in wheelchairs and iron lungs, the legacy was permanent muscle waste, weakness, contractures, limp, leg shortening, lifelong musculoskeletal problems, and now, worsening post-polio syndrome.

Parents who indulge the delusion their children are so special that they'll leave vaccination to others, and rely on herd immunity, should know the polio virus seeks out, and relies on hosts with no immunity. Past epidemics occurred, ironically, as public health improved. People had previously lived in symbiosis with the virus, so young exposed children self-immunised with asymptomatic infections while still protected by maternal antibodies. But under more hygienic conditions polio found its non-immune hosts, innocently spread by asymptomatic carriers.

As polio hasn't yet been eradicated, how can anyone assume with international travel and migration that it can't still silently travel, including potentially here? Herd immunity wouldn't protect an unimmunised child of the affluent world if exposed to polio virus. Even today. Surely, a crippling thought."

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

How is that even possible when Salk gave away his vaccine for free? I thought altruism in medicine was some kind of magical cure all.

:dunno

Batty, that's pretty interesting. Thanks for joining in the fun!

Sure! Sorry I don't have any government theories to add to the discussion... just the flu.

Oh, Ween... I've come to a lot of realizations over the last few years concerning age. No matter how much we want to deny it, it catches up with us all sooner or later. :lol

And thank you. :)

Re: How has the flu season been for you?

^you know what you didn't do much? **********.
being old does not excuse you from masturbation. masturbation keeps the flu at bay and keeps you fit.
