do any of you know where i can still purchase brand new unread copies of back issues to magazine Fitness and Muscle? im looking for an older issue from last year but Ebay, Amazon, and other back issues stores dont have it thanks!

Most magazines allow you to buy back issues, if you call the number that's listed in the first few pages. The number should be listed somewhere around the table of contents.

So..I don't know if it's my emotional feelings for pets or my age, or what. But lately meat is just not working for me. :naughty

I mean to say...I used to love beef and chicken especially. Beef started to lose its appeal and now when I eat chicken, it's just not so enjoyable. Unless it's heavily fried at a restaurant, etc.

I keep hearing about how the animals die as well, and that is just weighing heavily on my mind. I honestly don't want to give up meat fully. I do love bacon, I wont lie. But I think I will be cutting it out around 90%. I know that's not good enough. But I think I need to start slow.

Oh, and I will never eat tofu. That stuff is straight up nasty.

I eat about 2-3 pounds of chicken a day and while it does get a little bland something, I have found that using different sauces helps or eating it with different side-items reduces the monotony.

PS- Just past 27 pounds gained since February :rock:rock:rock:rock:rock

Nick, I'm a chef, so I'm great at making about 1000000 different dishes. I think it's mostly when I think about the animals it turns me off.

Probably should some crunches or something after intaking about 12,000 calories yesterday, but I almost broke a sweat typing this so I'm probably good, lol.

27 pounds! That's great. Did you calorie count along the way or just simply eat more?

Damn threw my back... hurts like a dickens. Looks like I'm out for a week :( Just when I was back in the groove. I hate it !

I signed up for a running challenge at work, it was 60 miles in 30 days.

My personal goal was 100 miles. With 3 days left, I am at 115. Probably finish about 130.

So, I'm very happy with that. I ran over 12 miles one day last week. But, I didn't know a half marathon was 13.10 miles, otherwise I would of kept going. Oh well, next time.

Either way, I had 5 days I didn't do any running (worked overtime, rested a couple times, and was sore from playing football day after Thanksgiving). But, still feel pretty successful.

:)

Good job everybody working toward your goals.

It's been tough, I never thought eating so much was so hard :lol:lol

It was pretty much just eating more. I have a REALLY fast metabolism, so it's always hard for me to gain. Went from 146-173 so far with my goal about 190ish. Been about this weight for a few months, as I got an couple of injuries in the gym, which SUCK, so I've had to keep up the food without any lifting at all. But almost all healed up, so I need to adjust myself again to get up to the higher weight.

Some guy just barfed in Gold's Gym. Looked like he was out of shape to begin with and was pushing himself too hard. I feel sorry for the guy who has to clean that up.

I'm still on the eat what ever you want diet... working out 2 days a week.... I want my abs back so i guess its finally time to start eating right and cardio...

I'm at 165 right now.

Doing well Ven. My eating has always been right. (Except for one day a week/two weeks.) Exercise is always good, but I found out I did too much (3 x gym, 1 or 2 run(s), 1 x survivalrun every week) and I haven't had a real good night sleep in months. On top of that I work in shifts. Got a stomach migraine (didn't know it existed) twice past month and now I'm forcing myself to rest more.

At my gym we're already starting to get the New Years resolution crowd which I hate since it gets super packed here. Thank goodness most of them never stick with their resolution to stay in shape so the crowd usually dissipates around February.

Well the New Years resolution crowd pays for your gyms stuff for that year, so don't be too hard on them.

Me, I blasted my back and biceps last night!!
