Good diet, just google it. Meat, fruits and veggies. I've been doing keto which is high fat, high protein and low carb. I feel good not eating so many carbs for the past 10 mo. I find it's better for the average person to just keep eating the same foods they enjoy but at a caloric deficit. Right now I only eat twice a day-no need to eat 6 times a day. Your body can get used to just about anything.

Shoulders and tri's today and it was do or die.

Feeling the fatigue getting pretty tired in the bottom of the 8th inning on this road. :thud:

This is where many have failed, down to doing HIIT on everyday of weights no matter what, EVEN legs... There's only temporary pain but to be the best for just a few minutes last forever.

:lecture Best way that I know how to describe it is a Caveman type of diet. I'm reading the Paleo Diet now.https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/paleo-diet-loren-cordain/1102586239

One of my Crossfit trainers explained it to me like this: If you can't kill it, or grow it in your backyard--don't eat it. Anything processed is off the list. I also recommend the cookbook because it has some really good stuff in it, and it's reasonably priced. I bought it at Barnes and Noble for $13 or so.

Today's breakfast:
Salmon and Broccoli omelet with a side of carrots.

Ski-need updates on the comp!

:)

In the locker room laying down with a cold towel on my face. My face is getting hot because of the nerves. My placement looks to be a lock, overall judging we find out tomorrow night at the final pose off. I'll say my class should be a shoe in, just a 6'4 230lb guy that will give me a run at the overall but I believe to have better proportions, symmetry and thickness.

First judging just started.

So.....I'm embarking on a new fitness journey tomorrow and need some feedback/advice/encouragement.

Since January, I've lost over 30 pounds by eating at a calorie deficit + doing exercise programs such as p90x/insanity. I'm 5'10" @150 at the moment, and I realize it's time for me to start gaining. Since I've been eating at a deficit for so long, should there by any issues putting on muscle now that I'm going to start eating at a surplus? I was thinking to start by adding 300-400 cals per day for a couple of weeks and see how things are going.

I'm going to couple this with cross fit, as I just started that and really like the gym and the people that I've found in town.

do any of you know where i can still purchase brand new unread copies of back issues to magazine Fitness and Muscle? im looking for an older issue from last year but Ebay, Amazon, and other back issues stores dont have it thanks!
