One thing I did like about training people is I felt like an artist or a sculptor. You see these people with not so great of a body, but who have LOTS of potential. I just like to watch them grow in body and in spirit. For me that's a thrill. Like a sculptor taking a piece of clay and molding it into something fantastic and inspiring.

This is why I want to train my niece. She was smart, a fantastic athlete and very talented, but somehow she just lost her way. She has lots of potential to be great and I want to give that back to her.

:goodpost: whenever that potential is unlock and the results are evident, only then will most know the way to becoming great!

:exactly:

I say give it a try and see how she reacts. Sometimes all you can do is plant the seed.

The bodybuilding scene has never been the same for since ronnie coleman retired. Damn i miss ronnie coleman going up on stage and kicking ass.

Update on my cut phase. Less that a week and I have dropped 6lbs. Have not deviated from my meals at all.

Already people are amazed at the changes. I should hit the 20 in a month easily.

As long as you are determined, driven, hungry, and have support anything is possible...

Ive been doing Intermittent Fasting and i am down 16lbs in 3 weeks while getting stronger in the gym. I'm a believer.

After getting back on track and hitting the gym 4-5 times a week I am feeling stronger and have seen increases in many of my exercises. I am feeling good.

Anyone on here do CrossFit classes? I started 6 weeks ago to help train for a Spartan Sprint I am doing later this month and I am loving it! Basically, it is a mix of body weight conditioning exercises, with strength exercises and gymnastics thrown in. High intensity. The classes kick your butt, but I am seeing great results. I am addicted to it now. :lol

My little brother is all about Crossfit. He flew to California (from Maryland) to enter a competition. He loves it and tried to get me into it but I love training with weights and focusing on each bodypart more though.

No doubt in my mind it works and is a cool way to train but just not for me. Good luck with it and what's most important is that you're having fun doing it.

I'm starting my own crossfit. There are zero places here. I have watched the 2012 champ and it seems pretty simple to set up. I'm going to conbine it with my HIIT training twice/weekly.

Would really love too. Crossfit just started to grow in The Netherlands. Think we got about 5 Crossfit gyms in the entire country now, but still no gym where I live :monkey2.
Damn this little anthole of a country is late with that kinda stuff...That's what I love about the US. They create something like this sport and make it a big thing with events, merchandising and games. Now it's huge and has a huge community.
Told my wife, apart from loving Cali as a state, I want to go back next year on holiday and see the Crossfit Games (and SDCC). :yess:

Just wanted to drop in and say hi. New to statue collecting but have been weight training for 2 years or so on a regular basis. Went through about 50 pages of this thread and figured I might as well check in now that im commited.LOL
