He would have to have been on--say a 800 to 1000 surplus. How can a body be on a surplus and not store extra fat. Even if he was on the bike he would have gained some amount of fat.

Ski that was what I was thinking but more alone the lines of 3mo bulk and a 2mo cut=5mo time frame for his gains.

And he got a new tattoo. I call BS. No way he packs on that much and remain pretty lean in roughly 8 weeks; 5 months is doable, but even that is a stretch. We're talking 20 pounds of muscle. Some guys can't get that type of gain in a year

Yea 2 months, that's pretty damn quick... :lol

I would really like to believe it's possible but it's so hard these days to tell whenever it's borderline.

I do remember myself gaining about 30lbs(6 months time frame) in college whenever I first started getting serious, I was 19 or so and just started supplmenting whenever creatine got really huge in the industry but I also put on fat in that time frame. I do believe that I have above normal genetics for putting on size so I was getting questioned a lot from my teammates while playing sports. At that point though I just moved to the city and got a job at GNC and was trying all kinds of creatines, protein powders, vitamins, etc... and at that age the male body is still growing rapidly.

To be fair I am nobody to judge someone else's workout ethics right now. I've not lifted since June 6 due to multiple injuries that have plagued me and finally shut me down. My diet has been garbage and I've gone from 6'1" 185 on June 6 to 205 as of last Monday. :slap 20 lbs and two pants sizes larger, I've got an uphill battle when I get clearance from my physician to hit the weights again.

Thanks for the well wishes gang, but this is all my fault (not the injuries but the weight gain). I mean I could have maintained a good diet and done some limited cardio, but to me, I can't be at the gym and not lifting - that's where the fun is. Watching people hit the weights when I can't is a major bummer for me.

I find out next Friday if I can begin lifting in some capacity again. :impatient:
 
It's possible but highly unlikely... how old is this guy, mid 20's.

I could almost believe it if he never supplemented before he could get these gains although he's pretty decently lean as well, unless he had a good bulk and then cut back down. :dunno

Absolutely impossible. I have been doing this too long to not all BS. You can see his facial structure is a little different, I would put money on HGH before anything else. His traps and anterior deltoids show way to much growth for that time period.
 
My benching is going great. Up to 440 now. Hit 330x3 on the log clean and press on saturday.

Been mostly just doing 2-3 sec pause benches for multiple sets of 3 to 5 and close grip for sets of 8-10.

Want a legitimate raw and drug free 495.
 
Going to a sports medicine specialist today about my legs. I've stayed off them for two weeks, bought new shoes, and I ran on Monday. I got about a block and the pain came right back. Although not nearly as bad. I want to add running to my routine. So I must get this figured out.

I get bored on the bikes and lifting. I also can't lift anything with my legs when I'm sore. So everything is focused on upper body. This sucks but hopefully I get it figured out.
