I'm gonna invest in a dip belt soon. After I invest in a better power rack. Now that Fury of the Beast is paid for I'm debating on another Power Rack or a Colt Sport AR-15

These are great...

No need for gloves or wrist wraps. I have a bracket outside for my heavy bag but don't use it anymore.

Use wraps on a bag but never with B.O.B.
No issues at all with him but I have been playing golf and hitting 'things' for 30 years. (And a few other exercises to strengthen the wrists :naughty :lol)

Come on man lol. I'm gonna always preach wraps though. Nothing worse than a wrist injury.

Well to my surprise, my elbow didn't get any worse from that chest 7 back workout I did yesterday. Pretty sore, but my abs are on fire. Every little movement is brutal, but it's that good pain :lol

Vic is a good follow.

Getting back into it myself, want to really get into it a see some growth

Give it 6 months to a year to see a big difference :duff

My lower back has been sore a good 3 days. I'm always wrecked the first week back into training. By next week I should be fine. Tonight is Legs & Abs. I hate hate hate training legs, but I never skip because I don't want to have that ugly imbalance.

I'm one of those lucky people that as soon as I start to excercise a group I start to see results pretty quickly. And also not been to the gym in a year and firmed back up in a month and lifting the same weight. I want to concentrate and put all the excuses not go behind me and bulk up big time :) legs damn I hate legs, l walk like I've been riding a horse after legs , they are also one if the few parts I get pains in from gym work, good pains though

All the leg workouts I do are based on your own body weight or just using free weights during squats. I didn't get big legs from it, just well sculpted. Although I was using my own leg extension and curl machine years ago and that gave me thunder thighs :lol

The fastest results I get is dropped body fat very fast and getting bowling ball shoulders.

I never understood how anyone can hate training legs. I find squats the most fun. I do back squats and pause squats on tuesdays and front squats on thursdays.

I kind of figure they get enough exercise carrying my fat a** about. But I just find leg excercises boring and I also have a bad lower back so doesn't help with the squats

Cut the crap exercises for leg development. The only exercises needed are squats and either stiff-leg deadlift, romanian deadlift, goodmornings or GHD for the hamstrings. There is little more exhilarating then loading up a bar and getting underneath it to squat.

If your lower back is bad, there is a reason. It can be due to weak abdominals and obliques, it can be due to tight hamstrings, tight hip flexors or poor form. Get the issue corrected and your back problems will disapear.

I have a tendancy to have excessive lordosis. My job has me sitting all day so my hip flexors end up shortened and my hamstrings, lengthened. I have to stretch my hip flexors and ankles on a daily basis. The latter is to prevent knee issues. I suffered a calf tear years ago and the mobility of my left ankle needs constant attention or I start to have knee pain (the knee compensates for lack of ankle mobility).

I do lots of heavy situps, leg raises and sidebends to work the core and keep a healthy back.

Same with shoulders. It is important to balance the musculature. It is very important to work the rear and side delts and also to do rotator cuff work. If you ignore this, you will have shoulder issues sooner or later.

Stretch the pecs. If you ignore this, you risk tearing your pecs on bench press. My buddy tore his pec while I was spotting him 2 weeks ago. Not fun.

Right that's it, after being plagued by injury after injury I'm getting back on it starting with the knacking of the hitting bag tonight!
As this post bares witness!

Wish me luck!

Over the past year I have fell in love with the back squat. I look forward to it. I'm addicted to it.
