Hell yes! Happy to hear everyone getting good results! Have you had your knee checked out snake? Buffy you're a trainer? Sweet! You're making a very positive impact on your clients lives :clap

I've been lifting more over the spring and summer. More cardio during the winter months.

Be sure not to lose those gains doing too much of that cardio. ;)

Yep, intake and training. People spend too much time believing BS they read in articles all over the place without doing actual research. So then people find me, and ask if I'm taking any clients. If I am, then I get them going. I just received before pics from one of my new clients and I should be receiving my other new clients' soon. I can't wait to see their progress. And thank you. Means a lot. I want people to be able to arm themselves with the tools they need. I'm happy to get people started/going until they can manage on their own, and understand the process. When they can/do, I move on and let them take charge.

I'm watching some of my clients really drop body fat since I put them on a plan. It's great to see. Great job Snake. Keep it up.

Going to eat soon and get my booty on my gym. Took yesterday off so I'm back at it full force today.

Thanks. I'm trying to sneak on cardio as much as I can.

I did chest yesterday and my ribs a bit sore today when I breathe. I guess I strained my serratus.

I think I know what did it. I had finished off with pushups and I think I really strained on a failure rep. I feel better today. Little sore still, but doesn't hurt to breathe now.

I was actually thinking about bringing my reps down a little while doing heavier weight. I've been doing 4 sets of 8 for years now.

I love the next-day pain from working out. I think that's the biggest part I miss. It was just that immediate biofeedback that I had been productive the day before :lol

Yeah try mixing it up, I like 12-15 reps...less if it's really heavy. I try to do exercises in different orders and switch them up every few weeks...I know I'm always adjusting to work around pain. Oh yeah shawpaw, I crave that sore feeling too

My knees have been getting better. Not bothering me all the time like they used to. As much as I hate Leg day, I miss having thunder thighs. They were my strongest feature, along with my shoulders :lol

Snake maybe doing legs with knee sleeves will help you? Yeah Shaw, nothing like a bunch of motivating buddies to help you. I got my 405 today, twice no less..so happy....455 next? I guess, slowly

I've been going to therapy for my knees and today was my last day. She said I operate on a higher level since I'm into fitness and there wasn't much more she could do for me. She thinks it's a meniscus injury but I might be able to get back into doing legs again as long as I'm conservative and do maintenance on it.

I have improved with it though so it wasn't a waste of time. I was doing one leg squats and it didn't give me any paint at all. I think if I add more strength to the overall area and my hips, I should be good.

I never did anything close to 405 deadlifts :lol I mentioned I never tried going for max, just working weights which was around 200. I'm a hard gainer, and I'm not tall.

Well I'm glad you've been getting help for your knees and are on the way to recovery. Being injured is the worst and not being able to workout the way you like is very depressing. Happy you're not letting this stop you and are coming back to it in a slow safe way. I've never tried a one leg squat before, sounds hard and like you need tons of stabilizing muscle control! I still might try giving knee sleeves a shot, they might help protect your knees from further injury... what do you think BUFFY?

I'd never tried deadlifting prior to all my injuries, I'd always just been interested in body building. After seeing some friends do a deadlift competition I thought I would give it a try...it's pretty fun, I like the challenge and the strict form.

Luckily these knee thing hasn't kept me from doing upper body. I changed up my arms workout yesterday and added an extra workout to both bis and tris and I'm pretty sore today. I haven't had sore to the touch tris in I don't even know how long.

My primary focus now is dropping my fat percentage (for a trip in August). The lowest I was 7-8% a few years ago.

Whoa! 7-8%! Dude that's incredible! Hope you reach your goal! I love being sore, feels so accomplished. Man, I could never be 7-8%, it would be awesome though...I just don't have that dedication to diet that is necessary to accomplish such a low %

I honestly think I wasn't eating enough which led to a low percentage. It wasn't a conscious thing I did :lol I didn't know much about dieting back then.

I hate being sore. Means my body is not adapting. DOMS are not indicative of progress. I'm hardly ever sore, unless I work a (cold) muscle like AD/AB Ductor during a sumo squat or lunges.

DL's today later in the afternoon. But just to work on grip strength with no versa gripps. So I'll have to pull at least 10lbs lighter. Prob more.

I don't get sore to the point of feeling like I'm in pain but if you flex really hard the day after a workout and there's a bit of a sore feeling I like that. Yeah I should do more stuff for grip too...have a fun workout

Graded to 6th kyu today! :yes
