Whenever people ask me how I lost all that weight I always say cocaine.

So that's what Michael J Fox is covered in! :lol

This is a great picture and it really sums up how I feel. My brother flaked out on me yesterday, said he wasn't feeling well, did that stop me from going? Nope. Went to the gym by myself and had a nice little workout. I am still getting myself used to it, so I am running on the treadmill for 20 minutes, working two body parts and doing some crunches. I can't wait to see what comes from this in say 2 or 3 months.

That's awesome man! Definitely don't let ANYTHING deter you from your routine, keep at it. We are all there together in spirit, even with the miles between us. I know you will be happy with your results in a few months, and will be even more addicted. :rock

Hell yeah man, you guys are keeping me motivated; every time I start to get lazy I think about you guys and I get pumped up again. I was a little intimidated at first to go by myself, especially 'cause of what Ski said about people staring and stuff. But I said, "^^^^ it, who gives a ^^^^" and did my thing! :rock

:wave How yah doing and holding up DA? Man running on nothing but a sweet potato is kicking my ass but I must do this... Major sore today after attempting the 145lbs dumb bells last night on incline press. Got it with a spot for 5 reps, I threw down those muthers like I had no limbs :lol

Weighed in today at 179lbs.

I'm sore as HELL... my legs might as well be made of stone. :lol

But yeah, I just had my breakfast...4 egg whites, some oats, and my vitamin.

going to clean house in a bit, go to the dump, and hit the gym for Chest/Back/Tris today. I'm hoping to try to max out weight today, just to see what I can do. And upping my cardio to 30 minutes seems to have helped, I dropped down to 200 today. So, I am very close to dropping under that dreaded barrier. :rock

Very nice man and good breakfast meal bro. Get some healthy fats in there if you can that will only raise ur testosterone levels and increase the strength for kick ass lifts. A handful of almonds, some Fish Oils Omega 3's or Flaxseed oils will do the trick.

U gonna eat steel and ^^^^ lead brother, under the 200lbs mark is where you're gonna feel like Super DA.

Speaking of maxing out, I was able to "machine" bench press 200 pounds 10 times yesterday. That is well over what I used to be able to do, and I haven't been exercising or doing much physical labor since, so. . .what gives? Must be a late-onset mutation.

What did u eat that day, that's about all I can point it out to be... Some days we are just Superman and some days Clark Kent. :lol

Ski, any tips to help widen my back?
Thats where I suffer the most, I pyramid now, lat pull downs, single arm saise, seated lat pulls and T bar. How could I throw a curve ball in there?

For lats basically it's a lil hard to explain but whenever you pull the lat bar down, try and concentrate on not pulling with ur arms and pull more with ur back. Your arms should slightly bend at the angle it normally does 3 inches before you engage them. This is basically teaching the muscles in the back to pull first for the lats and then at last moment use the arms. Hopefully that makes sense. I'll try to find the youtube video that explains this perfectly.

Also for dumb bell rows, while leaning over and raising the dumb bell towards urself whenever bent over hold and pause for a half of a second of more. Most won't be able to use very much weight because lots of ppl do this exercise incorrectly as well. If have to be in control of the weight and try not to use momentum to swing the weight up towards yourself and let it drop rapidly. Once the half second pause if complete slowly lower the dumb bell down to starting postion.

Wide grip pulls backs with lat pull down bar, it's basically the same style of motion that we are going to use with the dumb bell only in the sitting position when bar is fully pulled to chest, hold for another half of second or a second and slowly release to starting position. If you have someone there to put their hand in the middle of ur back the blades should squeeze around their hand with ur shoulder blades. That's the test to see if you are completing the exercise properly.

Hope all that helps and I'll try to find that one vid.

Thanks alot, Im off to the gym in 30 minutes, its back day so Ill give it a shot.

Yeah u should notice that at the beginning u might have to use less and weight and it's an entirely different feeling whenever the form and pauses are included. Like they always say anyone can move weight but are you moving and controlling it properly. Results and really tapping the muscle are key in progress and correct progress as well, in the long run u'll be able to do more weight and increase moderately with good form and it keeps you from injury.

Give some peeps a back shot, earlier this year, haven't tried taking any more progress pics so the mind job doesn't play with my head. :lol
