Got Deep Space Homer today. My first figure from Super7. I will say that the packaging is nice in that it comes with a shipper plus the art box. That part is well done.

The figure itself is pretty good. All three sculpts are good. Articulation is just okay. Paint is mostly pretty clean.

To me there should have been a stand. I would do a flight stand for this version of Homer because it would make sense.

The chip accessories are kind of dumb. Cool idea, but they should have been together with a clear plastic bit roping them together to imitate them floating. They’re so tiny and easy to lose.

Biggest thing to me is the cost. Is it a $55 figure? Debatable in my opinion. There are a lot of accessories and I know the figures are limited, but I feel like a company like NECA could do a similar release and it would probably be like $20 less.

Also to me with a franchise like The Simpsons I don’t see why the figures need to be limited. They could probably sell a bunch if they were priced lower and not a bunch of random characters.

Cool piece, Yeah I agree the price point is a bit on the high side. Probably will be able to double your money on this in a few years time. The Simpsons figures are very collectible.
Just dont show this fig to a Frank Grimes figure. He still cant believe Homer went into outer space. :exactly:
Oh yeah I forgot Grimey is dead. :doh

Telling myself I won’t go down the rabbit hole with this line but I ordered Moe from Entertainment Earth last night. I’ll have to reach out to Super7 once I get it because they apparently forgot to pack the apron with the figure.

I don’t think I’ll get any of the other characters from the first wave. Poochie would be the only other one that might tempt me but only if it was discounted.

Might get some of the other main characters like Mr. Burns, Ralph, Krusty, and Duff Man as they release.

Gah.. I’m talking myself into more of these figures. Ordered wave two today. I would like all of wave three too but not sure if I want to pay the extra price for Kang and Kodos. Wave four I really only want King Size Homer and Devil Flanders.

I’m getting all of wave five. Wonder if it’s just Lisa/Snowball II, Marge/Maggie, and Willie or if there will be more. The waves have been at least four figures so far.

I wonder if Super 7 is going to sell Maggie separate at the full $55 price.

That's what Super 7 did with Snarf in the Thundercats line but they "justified" it by saying the figure included a bunch of different accessories and tails.

I like the Lisa Lionheart accessory - but does she come with the new hat? :lol

I believe the Moe aprons are automatically being sent out to everyone who purchased them.

I purchased Moe through BBTS - their email said no further action is necessary, Super 7 will send them direct to the customers. Presumably EE is the same.

I reached out to Super7’s customer service and was told that I was being put on their list. That was at the end of March and no update since.

Still waiting?

I just got mine a few days ago.
