Eliot Spitzer went down pretty hard. Then again, half of New York had been prosecuted by him for making too much money. He had it comin'.

Yeah, there were undercurrents there of bribery and graft that exacerbated things, so I don't think it was the prostitution issue alone that caused all of his problems. Sex issues usually only kill politicians' careers if you are found with a live boy, dead girl, or a child out of wedlock I guess.
