Great Piece!! i think ill pass though. too spendy for me right now. ill hold out for the 12in versions and recreate this scene myself. so, with about 1 fig a year, in about 8 years ill be able to do that. cant wait.

If Saruman were pointing his staff like in the picture it would look alot more dramatic. I sorta think it lacks that extra bit of intesity this scene needs.

You know this is definitely one of those iconic moments from the trilogy where if someone calls to your home and sees this they can instantly recall the scene from the movie and the characters straight away! Its a stunning piece and I am sure as usual is going to look even better in hand. Minor note and it's probably my eyes not his but are Saruman's eyes doing a Frodo PF on it again, you know with one eye looking at you and one looking for you??!!!:rotfl

Either way its great to see the drama in these pieces and mine's on order!!

Now thats my fix for this week SS whats next.............:rotfl:D:rotfl:D:rotfl

Ah IF IF IF, you know, IF Saruman was a woman we'd call her Sarumanella kinda like the disease but alas he's not and neither is he pointing that staff of his........that's life!! :rotfl

I'm just taking the p*ss sorry couldn't resist!! :D

I love this diorama. I think Gandalf likeness is pretty good, Saruman's is a bit less, but what I really like is the dynamics and expression of the diorama. That's very well done. I thought Saruman had brown eyes tho? Not blue ones?

I also love that they added a distinct amount of background to it as well. It looks awesome. I ordered one, and hope they will change the color of Saruman's eyes before the final product is ready to ship! :monkey5

The Twilight Witch-king LS Bust is #3 on the Most Popular Items list at Sideshow while the Saruman Diorama isn't even on the list. :moon

Just ordered mine. This is amazing. When I first saw the promo I suspected the background was merely photoshopped and we get the normal two figures on a base. But we get architecture on three sides!!! Tremendous. My hat is off to SS for this one. This makes me very happy and I feel like Christmas has arrived several weeks early. :D

See you just gotta have some faith. :)

It looks great but I'm (with great difficulty) staying away from this line for the moment and only getting into LOTR through the 1/6 line (and Gandalf PF---) as I know that if I grabbed this one or the Helm's Deep I'd be in it for good.:D

Wow! This may just be the piece to tempt me to get into this line. I skipped out on the Helm's Deep and Crack of Doom, but not so sure for this one.

Argh... but no room to fit it. :monkey2
