This was a now brainer for me...while the price is a bit high..I LOVE the action depicted here...Gandalf looks perplexed as he falls...and Saruman looks down right DETERMINED!

I love this diorama. I think Gandalf likeness is pretty good, Saruman's is a bit less, but what I really like is the dynamics and expression of the diorama. That's very well done. I thought Saruman had brown eyes tho? Not blue ones?

Saruman's eyes are indeed a deep, dark brown--almost black--and even in the book that's one of his most important and noted features. That to me is the one glaring error in this piece--the eyes really through off the look of the face. They really, really need to fix it; if they do it will be absolutely beautiful. I wish I could afford this; I already know I'll regret it for the rest of my life. Oh, to have money to spend at will . . .

Augh!!! I'll have you know I'm a Faramir aficionado, not some sick Faramir fan puppy! The day I put the picture of some dude on my clothing is the day you'll know Cappy has finally lost all sense of reason and the end of the world is near.

I was about to jump on this after seeing the preview, but the base isn't all that impressing - and I would have liked a more dramatic expression in Gandalf's face. Not getting it!

I am really liking the Vs line so far. The first two are among my favorite LOTR pieces at the moment. This piece will look great with the others, plus if it has Gandalf, I have to have it.

It's a great piece-- but unfortunately put me down as one of the ones not getting it-- too much great stuff already pre-ordered and if I get into the LOTR dio line then I'm toast...

Sad but true. Enjoy though-- it looks great and it should be quite something when displayed.

Same here, I'm cutting back on my collection. No room left and its getting too expensive. But they have to fix the eyes or the piece is flawed.

(if I could hold back on the Helm's Deep dio--barely-- and that's my favourite part of the trilogy then I can hold back on this one-- barely---)...
