Ah, yes. Let the Sideshow buttkissing commence. No one ever said the Marvel line is doomed nor did I say that the pieces we have been clamoring for are never going to be made, I just said that Sideshow can be out of touch with their fan base. This has nothing to do with "this one comiquette."

Look at the Marvel items (comiquettes, PFs, dioramas) that made Sideshow's Marvel line popular and then look at some of the examples.

Hmm looks like to me that they reused the T-Rex maquette from the Dinosauria line and painted it black and resculpted the head.....also the exclusive is the exact same thing as the T-Rex maquette only they resculpted the skull piece to look like Venom's head. So pretty much it looks as a reused sculpt to me.

heh, I wouldn't doubt it's a reused sculpt, probably the same size as rex.

This is such an easy pass. But the funny thing is, with so much dislike for this piece, it will still get a ES of like 300 for the EX cause alot of members here say one thing and do another...like with Bullseye. This is why SS should implement cancel fees for certain pieces.

I dont care about the value either, but if its a large ES, and I can get the Ex later on, then thats prolly what I will have to do.

No he is not wrong. We see the symbiote but not Venom. The symbiote does not have a tongue when it not attached to the host. Sideshow even advertises it as a "Venom accessory" and they are wrong.

Yet again you show your great wisdom in proving what someone else had already mentioned...that I forgot a SINGLE PANEL out of an entire run and I was not the only person to mention the oddness of the EX

These are public forums and people will have very different opinions. I tend to want to spend $300 on more well known and in demand characters. As far as Manthing goes, I have admitted multiple times that he does look amazing...Namor vs. Ironman, not so much; some people like the more obscure and that is one of the best things about this forum is that people hopefully can still have different views. I just notice that the more obscure typically gets tossed to In Stock and then the Gift Card list. Grats again to the multitude of Sideshow fans who are excited about this piece; it does look interesting.

Again, you're here WAY more than me. For someone who clearly detests the subject of this particular thread, you seem uncommonly obsessed.

Sure they do. But they eventually wind up selling out, even if it's at a discount. To me, that indicates a successful business strategy. Sorry if your business acumen is strictly short-term in vision. But in the long run, taking 2-3 years to sell through an entire stock of these products isn't all that disappointing. In the end, sold out is sold out, after all.

I just watched the painting and the paint apps are amazing. If it was a dio, it could have turned out to be a really need conversation piece. One thing I gotta admit, this comiquette got me to take my OML tpb out.

I think this statue is awesome. I'm all about the Old Man Logan series so this is a must have for me. I think the buggy with Wolverine and Hawkeye would have been a nice add on but better this than nothing.
