I read about 20 comics today. This is one read in a long time where I really just couldnt put it down. I admit it seems a rehas of the governor, and even mad max, but I just couldn't stop reading.

Can't believe more ppl don't read this. It looks like the end of the road for Rick. It's just such a great read.

#102 was awesome. Can't wait for the next one already.

Maybe it would've been nice to save that last-page reveal for a moment in the future. . . kinda build up that tension.

But it's good to know Rick hasn't lost his spirit.

Oh man, I got to find out what happened.

Rick decides to let the prisoner go and submit to Negan, just basically do whatever he asks, and says he's tired of fighting, because he knows they can't beat the Saviors. Andrea flips out and people are pissed, but then once everyone gets over it, then we see Rick tell Jesus to follow him and make sure he's not spotted. "No one can know what we're really doing here."

In case you haven't already found it. . .

Well...I finally decided to pick up Book One of "The Walking Dead" which is the hardcover edition with the first 12 issues included.
I decided against the Omnibus edition because I do not think I could enjoy reading a book so thick that I would have to place it on something while reading it because of it's weight.
The hardcover right around 304 pages is absolutely perfect in every way. When I first received it I figured this will be the perfect graphic novel to bring with me on my upcoming trip as I will be out of town on a nice road trip for at least a week...however here I am just now finishing the whole first book in one single sitting...so obviously I will have to order several more of these books to hold me over. The plane trip alone I will probably knock a pretty good amount out of one book. This is officially the most amazing comic I have ever read...hands down.
So I just ordered "The Walking Dead" books 2, 3, 4, and 5. :) I figure those should hold me over during my trip during those lonely nights staying in different Hotels every night of the week.

The time really flew as I was reading this I mean my eyes were stuck to the pages like glue. This comic so far is pretty close to the TV series but with several changes so far...but I still love both.

Any fans of the TV series should definately jump on these comics...and even though they are in black and white (unless you count the cover artwork in the back of the books...which I thought was a cool idea...not having them in the story pages allows the story to go along nice and smooth) I find the black and white flows perfectly with the story.

Yeah Septic they are truly amazing books.

I've got volumes 1 - 5 in paperback. Trying to workout if I should just stick to paperback for them, or get the rest of the volumes in hard.

Hmm.. Only need a good 160+ bucks to get the volumes I'm missing from the book depository!!!!

IMO Hardback version is the way to go with this comic. They did a perfect job with them such as the great quality of the paper which sort of has that glossy feel however which is not a finger print magnet like some glossy finished comics I have read...and what is cool is you get 12 individual issues all in one book.

I can't wait until my orders for books 2, 3, 4, and 5 come in. This is a very addictive comic to read.

How's the quality of the "The Walking Dead Compendium" 1 and/or 2?
Thick/thin paper, good/bad binding?

First Glenn and now that comment on the last page.

I cannot wait until Rick and this guy have their reckoning. :lol
