F McFarlane and their horrible, out of scale figures, anyways.

Only pic I can find so far of any of the new 7" figures at SDCC. But it is a very cool one of Norman Reedus holding the Dayrl prototype. The figure looks really good from what I can see.

So according to Toyark this was the only display from McFarlane this year:

Here are some general booth pics of the Diamond Previews display from San Diego comic-Con 2016. Most of the stuff here had no company or product markers. We wound up skipping most of it as it was mainly items you could already buy. Here are a few photos of the display though. This housed the main McFarlane Toys display, which was items we had already seen. They had a few other items spread throughout the con that we didn’t chase down.








One small display case with only one of the new 7" figures displayed still in box. Very disappointing...

The likeness to Andrew Lincoln looks better on the 5" Series 8 figure.....

THE 5" FIGURE HAS A BETTER LIKENESS. C'mon Mcfarlane.

Agreed. The 10" Glenn looks pretty good. I mean it's nothing to freak out over but it's what I would expect.

I was hoping it was just the glare on the packaging or something that was making Rick look so bad in that pic. But you are right, the paint apps on the face and hair look horrible and nothing like the pics of the prototype figure. I may actually wait for in hand pics or a video review before ordering these. It would be a real shame if McFarlane screwed these up after showing such awesome looking prototypes.

The articulation is poor but the sculpts and paint apps look really good imo, especially on Michonne. I was having my doubts about these figures recently but the default poses would look good in the diorama that I am planning so I will probably be getting them.

Its odd that rick has little articulation because I recall seeing the proto of Abraham being held someone at sdcc and it appeared to have an acceptable amount
