I've enjoyed the show up to now. The first half of season 4 was really good but I think even the most die hard Walking Dead fan can admit that the second half was boring and purely filler episodes. They could have condensed the second half into two or three episodes but I imagine the writers were ordered to drag it out to fill the schedule. I kept watching in the hope that it would deliver at some point. The season ending did that (just about).

It defiantly was a different pace but I really enjoyed it. The only one that I would consider a filler episode was the one where Beth was obsessing about getting a drink, and even then I think we got some good character development with Daryl. But for the most part there was a good bit of resolve of earlier story lines.

I think I might be one of the few that loves the second part of season 4. I didnt think any of it was filler

if we are talking about filler then season 2 and the second half of season 3 were full of them. Season 2 was kind of amazing in the sense that they stretched that budget until it was humanly possible. 13 episodes were nothing important happened at the end :dunno

I've been re-watching S2 on blu-ray and I think it holds up really well. Great character development for just about everyone. I have to agree and say that the second half of S3 is my least favorite part of the series to date. F'ing Glenn Mazzara almost destroyed this show. The Governor stalking Andrea like Jason from the Friday the 13th movies ranks as my all-time worst WD episode. So glad he got fired and I am loving what Scott Gimple is doing with the show. I also liked the second half of S4 too.

M point is just that everyone seems to hate second part of season 4 but no one seemed to have a problem with season 2. (or season 3)

Which to me is kind of bizarre because season 4 if anything was just like the other 2 seasons, So I don't really understand why people would have a problem now all of the sudden.

They should have scrapped the first half of S4, used the mid season finale of S4 (Hershel and Gov's death) as the finale of S3 and then had the last half of S4 as the first.

I really like what Scott Gimple has done so far and I'm sure it was no easy task. I think most feel that the back 8 of season 3 was the worst run the shows had so far and he managed to turn it back around rather quickly and introduce something new that wasn't pulled directly from the comic. I also really like Ricks arc from last season. Watching him transform from farmer Rick back into a throat munching badass was pretty great.

I'm right there with you. Season 4 was the best season. (I don't count the first season).

I am watching my first episode today I'm kinda lost it seems like some underground bunker where they have so much time until the generator runs out and some scientist explain to them how the brain dies and is reborn . Does anybody know what episode or season this is, I might want ro start from the beginning

Holy **** this show is so suspenseful, on the HWY laying under tje cars. Omg I cant believe I haven't watched these

Ween I saw the first season when I was in intensive care in the hospital . I was on morphine so I forgot a lot. After seeing the S1 recap I remember what happened. Ricks boy got shot and with the Green's atm

I got to the part where the liitle girl that was missing
ended up being a Walker, I never would have guessed that!
I will have to go buy 2-4 seasons , I was really surprised about the human element of the show and the quest for survival. I figured it was just a blood bath, gore infested, poorly written piece of fanboy ****, but was really surprised that I liked and care for the characters. All this means is that my wallet is going to be even more empty looking for TWD merchandise in 1/6, I might have missed the boat on them but maybe now that some of the hype has died down I can snag a great deal! I have to work today cant sit on my bum and watch the rest of the episodes!

season 2 was incredibly lower in quality compared to season 1. That's just a fact :lol

Yes season 3 picked up and was better, But no way in hell can you tell me that it didn't fall apart as soon as Frank Left.

(For most people season 1 is still the best Walking Dead season to date, for most people actually)

In your opinion, I've talked to many fellow fans face to face who would disagree with you...as I do.

Just because season 2 wasn't to your liking doesn't make it fact. Just your opinion.
