meh, opinions opinions,

I KNOW you guys in here hate Frank Darabont, there have been countless talks and conversations where you guys will always come back to say bad things about him and Im the only one defending him,

nothing new now, I must have had this conversation at least 5 times. Frank Darabont is the boogeyman of this thread :lol:lol

fact is season 1 has so many iconic scenes that are fan favorites at this point. walkers from season that have become icons of the show, I mean Bicycle girl anyone???? (Of course season 2 also has walkers that are iconic) but still,

if it wasn't for Frank there would NOT be a walking dead show, even if you guys hate him, at least give him some credit por favor

There you go again...making suppositions.

I do not hate Frank Darabont. He's one of my favorite director/screenwriter/producer. I dare you to find one post where I say otherwise. Go ahead...I'lll wait.

As for opinions, stating them as fact only makes one look foolish. IMO.

true, you might not have said anything against him, but I never saw anyone else say anything good about him. Or at least I Do not remember anyone saying anything good ( If course there might have been some posts I missed) but the overall opinion about him here was that he sucked. I don't recall many fans in here.

but you know what, if you are a fan, if you like him, then Great! I am glad to have at least another fan of him on here :)

Season 1 was the most well-made season yet. Not opinion. Fact.

The show has dropped so far in quality it's sad.

Refer to my post #20289

It's a fact. Not a matter of opinion.

You can love the show and where it's at right now, but the fact is, it's taken a huge drop in quality from S1.

I got to the part where the liitle girl that was missing
ended up being a Walker, I never would have guessed that!
I will have to go buy 2-4 seasons , I was really surprised about the human element of the show and the quest for survival. I figured it was just a blood bath, gore infested, poorly written piece of fanboy ****, but was really surprised that I liked and care for the characters. All this means is that my wallet is going to be even more empty looking for TWD merchandise in 1/6, I might have missed the boat on them but maybe now that some of the hype has died down I can snag a great deal! I have to work today cant sit on my bum and watch the rest of the episodes!

Welcome to the club man. There's a lot of great custom 1/6 work out there, but the company that snagged TWD license just released its first figures so there's plenty of time to get caught up. Defiantly check out some of the custom work too though. There's plenty of options out there. And I'm sure AMC has 7 more marathons planned before the new season so no need to rush to check out all the episodes.

Play nice. :)

Stating the show has lowered in quality is not fact but opinion. It may be fact to say 4 out of every 10 but not to everyone else it can't be fact for both. Let's operate on that we're only giving opinions and we'll be ok.

For most series, the first season is the best because it's all new. TWD was so different that what was on TV at the time. I was shocked when I saw the first episode. I remember saying something about how it made me feel back then. It unnerved me or something. No way will another season after it affect me like that.

The sky, IMO, is red, not blue. Just my opinion. That can't be disproven or anything I guess. Because we all live in happy land where everyone's opinions are valid.

No one's saying TWD is a bad show. It is just, factually, not as good as it used to be. The show has become incredibly repetitive, loaded with filler, way too reliant on the same melodramatic family drama, silly and unbelievable character choices, etc.

In season 1 there was none of that. If there was drama, it was justified. There was actually a story to tell. The show was going somewhere. Now it's just basically stagnant.

I could say that Michael bay is a more talented and skillful director than, say, James Cameron, but we already know by what the standard of a good film is, that that simply isn't true. One is a better film maker than the other...factually.

You're welcome to that opinion but unlike the rest of your post there are actual facts to show the sky is blue. That is unless your color blind. :peace I won't argue the rest because you're welcome to your opinion and frankly I just don't give a ****.

The tension and the fear the show created in season one has definitely lessened.

A lot of people say s2 is boring but I've always thought it was the best season so far. Highlights included: the highway scene, the barn massacre, the bar shoot out, Daryl's hallucinations, 18 Miles Out - one of the best episodes, the walker herd, the final episode, Ricktatorship, Hershel's shotgun and of course, Maggie.

Yeah a lot of people hate S2 for some reason, but it was the last time I was genuinely interested in the show. Too many good moments from that season alone, and has been down hill for me ever since.

18 Miles Out was an awesome episode.

I am on S2 and that Walker they pulled from the well was degusting. I like how " the Asian Kid" as Mr. Green calls him got some in the Pharmacy

I do like Season 2. It does have some great moments. Plus, you can't beat Hershel's unlimited ammo in the last episode. :rock

In regards to Season 4, the Governor's episodes are the only ones that can rival anything we've seen in Season 1 & 2 (IMO). ;)
