I'm guessing one of the Termites might have Michonne's sword and she is about to get it back?

That would be my guess. The cut in the tree was fresh and not many objects can make that long and straight a cut. At first I thought they must have killed him, but now I'm guessing he got hit with the handle, or something.

Yeah, When I saw him asking Sasha for another kiss, I figured he probably got bit.The only thing that gives me doubt is there was never any reaction, grimace of pain, surprise on his face, not at least that I noticed. No matter how tough you are, your going to react when you get bitten.

I watched it again, didn't see Bob laughing/smiling.

I'm sure Michonne gets her sword back. I just hope that they don't follow the comic Governor plot point with her, with these hunter guys in the process.

It's been left very ambiguous as to Bob's condition. In the beginning of the episode he said "One more" or whatever, to Sasha after a kiss, to establish it was a "thing" with them. So that doesn't necessarily mean what people are assuming based on something else *wink wink nudge nudge*.

Only thing that really suggested it to me, and it might have been my mind assuming from crap I know based on something else we'll pretend doesn't exist, and loosley extrapolating from what we didn't see that happened underwater, is that he had a very slight limp on his way out of the church. But what gives me pause is that they will NOT let Gareth and the rest off that easily. They are likely going to be a menace to the group for a good part of the season.

They showed a clip where she had her sword. Commercial, or something.

There is more than enough reason to believe Bob was bit. They were probably saving it until after the hunters ate his leg. Even if it doesn't affect them, they don't know that they're infected already and it could play for psychological advantage. There's also no guarantee that it's going to get them immediately, if at all. I do suspect that they're not going to be a problem for much more than the next two episodes.

I'm gonna put it out there that the knife marks and the writing on the church are from some of the Padres flock. They knew he had a bunch of food but refused to let them in. Hence his sins. Not helping his flock and potentially sending them off to die. Either that or it has to to with the cross-mobile.

The only thing I didn't like about the episode is how they jumped into the water underneath the floor with those walkers. It was crowded down there to begin with, not to mention the walkers that weren't visible from where they were standing.

I know saving ammo is a concern, but honestly, how hard would it have been to have just played it safe and shoot those walkers in the head from above? They took a big risk jumping down in the water with those things and forcing father Gabriel down there with them. It appears as though Bob is a casualty because of it.

Yeah, after watching the episode a second time I didn't see that either like I originally thought.

That's why I thought something had happened, it's when he was outside smiling and then started to weep was when I figured he had been bitten.

That's my thought too. While it makes for good tension on the show but I don't want them to drag it out for more than two more episodes.

I think the "You'll burn in hell for this" carved in the wall suggests he left his congregation outside to die.

Them jumping into the water logged basement for supplies with filled with the soggy walkers had me scratching my head but I figured they didn't want to attract any walkers in the area with their gunfire.

The soggy walkers were pretty cool looking, IMO. :rock

I don't think we're going to find out what happened with Bob next week. I think they will do a mainly Beth episode, showing her new camp from the previews and cutting back to Daryl and Carol on her trail.

You would think that the Termites would have noticed a wound on Bob if he had one, but maybe when they go back for seconds they discover it on his other leg. You have to wonder what those walkers were doing in the basement of the food bank. They didn't all fall through the hole or the shelves would have been all knocked over. Kind of random but it may has something to do with Gabriel's sins.

Maybe I'm being too picky but for a guy trapped in a building for over a yr and no other human contact father gabe looked pretty sharp. His priest uni was clean and pressed. No rips or tears. His facial hair was well groomed and his head looked like it was freshly shaven. Even if ur not out fighting walkers I don't see how he stayed looking realatively well groomed.

I think that is going to be episode 4. Next episode will focus (at least part of the time) on Bob and the cannibals.

Well, the survivors can't blame any of this on Rick now. He was the one who wanted to go back and finish off the Termites. If they had done that, Bob wouldn't be the main course on the menu right now with the rest of Rick's group being hunted by the remaining Termites. I love how much more pragmatic (and almost Shane-like) Rick has become. He is much more like his comic counterpart now.

I thought it was a really good episode. Yes, it was slower than the season premier, but it is nice to see them have a couple of moments of joy before the inevitable ***** hits the fan. Some random observations:

1.) Father Gabriel probably locked himself inside the church (and his congregation out) hence the "you'll burn in hell" for this scratched into the church wall outside.

2.) My guess is the zombie with the glasses was the organist or a prominent church member that Gabriel worked closely with, but I doubt there was any romantic involvement.

3.) Gabriel looked like Jesus on the cross when he was going to let the glasses zombie bite him.

4.) Loled at the Tara/Rick fist bump.

5.) Carol was going to leave the group in the car she and Daryl found. The battery was charged in the trunk and she lied to Daryl about it.

6.) I agree with the consensus that Bob was probably bitten at the food bank. Only reason I can think of as to why a guy who is so upbeat and positive would break down and cry is because something bad was/or is about to happen to him. Interesting that he wasn't showing any signs of fever in the church. Sasha even touched his face during their last kiss and didn't seem to notice anything.

7.) I wonder what the exchange between Abraham and Rosita was all about when Michonne was bashing a walker's head in. I think he said something like, "...and that is why we will wait until we make our move."

8.) When Rick was telling Carl not to trust anyone, it sounded like he mentioned Abraham by name. Anyone else hear this or did I mis-hear it?

9.) I didn't see Bob smiling or start to smile at the end of the episode. He looked horrified and in shock. That scene is one of those scenes that will be talked about for a long time.

10.) I have a feeling Martin is going to "out" Tyreese as not being able to kill him. If this happens, I wonder how Sasha will take the news considering it leads to Bob's current situation and presumed upcoming death.

11.) During my rewatch of the season premier, I can't stand how Martin talks with Tyreese as he is chewing something (gum?). Not what he is saying so much, but how he says it. He comes across as so cocky and arrogant. Martin and Gareth cannot die soon or horribly enough for me.

12.) Another sign carved into the tree. My guess is Gareth and his group are using them as signs/signals to track Rick and his group. It will be interesting to see how Morgan factors into the Bob/Hunters storyline.

I think once Tyreese sees Martin again and what he and the Terminites have done to Bob he'll lose it and Martin will meet a much deserved brutal end.

I can't wait to see how Morgan plays into the Bob/Hunters plot. I hope he kicks the **** out of Gareth and the others.

That water was disgusting and could've been contaminated. Why did they jump in again? Any injuries/scratches/orifices/etc would have been contaminated from that no?
