WD need more asian. anyway, why they're fighting over a bus? there should be plenty of vehicles to use. at least eugene have the sense to say no until he got bullied.

Not sure how Gabriel could be any sort of voice of conscience or morality - even he admits he should burn in Hell. No, I think his purpose is just like everyone they meet - to tell us how someone of a particular personality might survive. Gabriel is a coward, through and through. He didn't leave the people locked out because he thought it was the best decision to survive ala Shane, he did it simply because he was too terrified to move to open the door. He would have been killed by the walker he knew in the basement because of the same thing - he was too terrified to move. This makes him worthless to the group, and it will be interesting to see how they handle him. Will the writers give him some moment when he finally breaks free or will his fear be his end?

I think this might mirror what happens with Eugene. I think, like many of you, that he's lying through and through about having any idea of how to kill the walkers through genetic manipulation. He's smart enough to know he can't survive without help, and instead of learning how to take care of himself like Carol or Carl, his personality told him the way to go was to lie and get others to protect him. That has it's own issues though. What do you do when you get to DC and they want some answers? Perhaps that's why he wasn't in quite so big of a hurry to leave the church when Abraham was demanding it.

I havent read this far in the comics, so I don't know Father Garbiels story, but I assume there will be a point to his being in it. Whether it is long term as a moral compass, or to absolve him of his sins by sacrificing himself to save one of Rick's group. In that world, his sins are slight, even Rick and his group have turned their back on others rather than risk helping, and at the end of the day, if someone dies because you were a coward or because you just didnt care, the result is the same. Shane killing Otis was as much an act of cowardice in my opinion, he could have probably escaped with Otis. He just reacted to his fear differently than Shane, Shane reacted with homicide, Gabriel reacted with paralysis.

And man, how much more can they up the ante on Rick's Badassness?

Yep, hes back, not farmer Rick, not things Rick, not confused Rick, we finally got the Rick we need and deserve. :lol

Tyreese almost peed himself :rotfl:rotfl

Yeah, he looked like he was going to turn around, go outside and puke or he just **** himself.

^exactly. Rick is doing everything Shane said he wasn't capable of...Rick's become more Shane than Shane ever was :lol

Shane probably would have been very very in line with this version of Rick. If Rick were like this before and Shane pulled his stunts, he probably would have had a talk with Mr. Red handle. :yess:

Granted he's doing it to people who deserve it rather than poor Otis.....that was that guy's name right?

You don't have to be faster than the Walkers, just faster than Otis. :lol

Man, that scene in the church when the termites were looking for the people hiding had me on edge. I haven't felt that anxious watching a movie or a show in forever. I had even guessed that rick would come back in time, but you just never know. That's what I love about this show!

Yeah, the show's got it swag back. Edge of the seat stuff. Three solid episodes so far. :rock

Rick can't come back from this.

I want to see Maggie and Tara get together. There's some of dat dem there sexual tension between the two.

na, glenn the lucky man. he got his wife and a collar around tara. Eugene and Abraham got a thing going on. rosita? who knows

na, glenn the lucky man. he got his wife

I dunno, Maggie looked at the bible in disgust, doesn't care about her sister, and there's that "4 walls and a roof" talk. Marriage might not mean a damn thing to her no mo!

na man, stop it with the ***** fantasy. they were smooching after the tunnel, together after terminus, and together in the church. tara just want in. she's ripped for Glenn. Oh noe, unless she got the hot for the priest/father?!!1 three-some or nutting, hehe.

Yeah, basically the perfect Rick Grimes.

I hope they don't play this season off as "oh man, Rick is being too harsh, he must see the error of his ways!". He's perfectly fine the way he is. At this point, I'd follow him. The little exchange between Bob and Rick before Rick passed was a good one, and it looked like Rick took it to the heart.

Also, they better not off Carol in the next couple of weeks (or the next episode). That would be stupid, I can feel it though. I like how Glenn mentioned Jim from season one. I wish there was more of an emphasis on the Atlanta group. They should be a little more tight nit than being little ******* to each other. They've went though a ton of ****.

That's one of the reasons I don't get the eagerness to split apart.

Rick can't come back from this.

how much you wanna bet that they will turn rick around. The faces of everyone in the church gave me the feeling that one of them will have a talk with Rick and they will make him see that he is becoming too hard.

Wow, I somehow missed that. :lol

Rick Grimes is the equivalent of Winston Churchill - he's built for war and not for peace. Which is ironic, because he was a peace officer in the old world.

Churchill was sacked following World War II. I believe Rick will have to die in order to help usher in the next world.

Loved this episode! :rock

"Didn't want to waste bullets"!!!! Outstanding! I don't think Rick is losing his humanity... he just sick of becoming other peoples *****! I respect Carol & Rick for doing what it takes.

I also loved the scene when Michone gets her sword back! Gave me goose bumps. Awesome :lol
