Since the writers are using several time jumps, I thought it might be helpful to figure out what is going to happen between now and the mid season finale by coordinating them. Here's how I see it...

Rick's GroupDaryl/CarolAbraham's Group
Night 1Church massacrechase after car w/ cross in rear window
Day 2Bob dies??? (episode 6)Leave Church
Night 2Michonne talks to Gabriel on church stairsDaryl returns to churchSleep in library
Day 3??? (episode 7)Firetruck breaks down
Night 3??????
Day 4??? (episode 8)Return to church?

Does this look correct? It looks like Abraham's group is roughly a day behind Rick/Daryl. (I suppose it is possible that Abraham's group could get back to the church as early as Day 3 or Night 3 since they already cleared the way, but that's also assuming they find an operating vehicle right away.) I am going to assume it takes them until Day 4 to get back to the church. This leaves episode 6 to cover what happens to Daryl/Carol. Episode 7 could be the group going to the hospital for the first time. Episode 8 will be the final assualt on the hospital with the whole group.

All in all, it looks like the first half of season 5 (minus Morgan's appearance) takes place over the span of roughly 5 days. It's been a pretty action packed 5 days for our survivors.

The way Eugene was running away from those zombies in the flashback.. yeah, he definitely needed to lie and get help from people like Abraham. :lol

So.. when Daryl tells someone off screen to come out at the end of episode 3, was he talking to the skinny black kid that ditched Beth in Slabtown!? Or Morgan!?

Didn't someone say that Morgan wont meet with them until after the break? I Swear I remember reading that on some article or somewhere

I think it will be Noah. He'll tell the group what it's like in the hospital and convince them to go and rescue Beth most probs.

:lol

I'm just going with the flow hoping an episode sews it all together clearly and then I'll be happy were back in present time.

Correct. I think Bob getting captured, eaten, returned and the church massacre all happened in the same night.

That's a lot of stuff happening in one night. There's no way if all that happened in the same night they could have cooked Bob's leg enough to meet USDA standards. They would risk getting sick. :wacky

I like the flashback scenes. They add a lot to the character. It kind of was starting to annoy me that Abraham was always in his LETS GO FORWARD!!! and obsessed with protecting Eugene, but the flashback scene explained why he was so pathological about protecting him.

Yep, it all makes sense now.
