I have to say the gore in this episode was very impressive! They've really pushed the limit, and I like that! Its amazing they can get away with stuff like that and the F word still is an issue :lol

It really annoys me to be honest. :dunno :lol But they say the word $**t in just about every episode.....because that compensates or something.

i loved this episode, (have not read any posts here yet)

probably the most intense episode of this half season.... it really had me going, i loved Abraham, I loved Eugene lol :lol

i didnt even care about Noah but that got me really bad... and the death of the son.... holy s--, probably the most brutal way to go

i dont know why but these two bothered me a lot... made me feel pretty bad, like, grabbing your face and going "OMG NOO" kind of bad

cant wait to see how it ends, It's been a while since I was so bothered by a death like this.. I guess the level of gore had something to do with it
Yeah, the gore being kicked up a notch brought some intensity back, along with how they were literally all ripped away from one another. Noah was growing on me, so sad to see him go and in such brutal fashion. Thought Glenn's reaction was pitch perfect. Really looking forward to the aftermath back in Alexandria.

Noah's death was so gruesome. They were ripping into his face and everything :( Poor Glenn was just trapped there watching the whole thing.

They could've at least shot the son in the head before leaving him there.

Something along the lines of "we left the others" basically that they abandoned a group of people before or something like that.

They said that the four people who died earlier weren't the ones who panicked, those two were. They panicked and ran, and left the four to die. He said "that's who we are", essentially telling him he was leaving him there and saving his own ass ... which seems to be the way this group runs. Happened several times this episode.

I thought about that, too. You'd think it would be sort of a priority the moment one realizes so-and-so can't be saved. The individuals/group in the show do a lot of things that don't make sense in that regard or don't act with the intensity one would expect for people in their situation. You'd expect to encounter at least a few people willing to endure the discomfort of getting armoured up Boba Fett style, for example.

And whenever I see that straightaway road leading directly to Alexandria's gates, I wonder why they wouldn't have roadblocks or barriers along the way to prevent someone just driving a semi through it. The heavy machinery at the construction site would be perfect. Everything looked to be in good repair and presumably can't all be out of gas. One would expect they'd be frantic to do stuff like that. I know in their position I wouldn't be able to sleep nights just trusting that no-one was looking to knock the gate down in a surprise attack.

Still, it's a neat dynamic going on between the two groups and it's cool to see Rick's extended group splintering. Didn't expect Father Gabriel's betrayal but it fits with his past deeds. Carol's kind of gotten a little too squirrelly for her own good, I think.

That stuck out as being very unusual that they didn't put him out of his misery. Obviously we were meant to assume that the walkers descended on them too quickly to do the deed.

Even if the walkers got there too quick, turn around and shoot him over/through the walkers as you're leaving. Glenn isn't a bad shot. Apparently, neither was Noah. No harm in trying. Hell ... I even might've tried to shoot Noah through the glass (though make sure you've got an exit first, because the glass would break). His face was pressed right up against the glass. Shoot him.

I always figured that was one of the few rules to this game. If at all possible, you don't let your own turn ... and you don't let your own get torn apart alive.

She's being squirrely because she is surrounded by nuts.

Has Glenn killed a human? That is a big line to cross and might be why they didn't put Aiden out of his misery (besides all the Walkers descending on them).

Also, I think they said that Glenn and Noah had guns, but were out of ammo and Nicolas had the ammo on his side. So Glenn was helpless to do anything but watch Noah get torn apart. Probably the most gruesome death on the series.

Noah's death reminded me so much of Dale's. Just brutal. :ohbfrank:

And even though he was there to say his goodbyes. Tyler James Williams barely spoke on Talking Dead. Apparently, everybody does hate him. :lol

What did Aiden say to Glenn as he was dying? I rewound it three times and still couldn't make it out.

Something along the lines of, "We're the ones who panicked."

If Glenn would have shot him the audience would have been robbed of an awesome scene...so don't overthink it, lol

It was almost. Almost. Day of the Dead good.

I think he's killed humans before during the Governor's raid of the prison. But if I were in his shoes at the moment, as much as I would help put someone out of their misery, when being surrounded by so many walkers and not having an escape plan (since the front was blocked), the first thought in my mind is survive and get the **** out of there. I'd be thinking about myself and whoever else is alive at the moment and trying to make sure we stay that way. :lol The split second it takes to spend a bullet on the guy could mean my death so I'd be bailing without looking back as quick as I can if the guy couldn't be saved, if you know what I mean. Sorry Aiden...

dee-dubs looking out for Numero Uno. :lol

I'm guessing the posts being on the wrong side of the walls of Alexandria - that design is supposed to serve as a metaphor? The community is not keeping out the rest of the world, it's actually vice versa?

:lol I know sometimes some things I say can be overlooked so there, bolded... :lol I would've tried like Glenn to unskewer the guy, but if he wasn't budging, then my focus is back to surviving myself and make a run for it to get clear of the walkers. Just to be clear, (I forgot his name) abandoned Aiden long before Glenn did, I would've put in more effort as Glenn did, but you gotta get out when there's still a chance or you're gonna be surrounded... If I was able to get away from all those walkers at a safe distance, sure, I'd try to snipe the guy to spare him the torture of being ripped apart. I'm not heartless... :lol but hey, if that move is going to cause me to become another victim for the sake of being merciful, then you just lose another person, doesn't make sense. Can't be altruistic and useful if you're dead.

I like that thinking. :hi5: The art department and set design built that thing that way for a reason....
