Nah, I don't see Rick turning into the Governor. I am curious as to why people think Morgan holds so much influence over Rick. I think Rick feels a certain amount of obligation to him for saving him in S1, but other than that I don't see him holding Morgan in higher regard than he does Michonne, Daryl, Carol, Glenn and Abraham. Those are the people who he has lived with and survived with for the past months/years. They are his family, not Morgan. That is not to say that Morgan won't become part of Rick's "family", but he is going to have to "earn" it. IMO, it is Morgan who needs to harden up. Him not killing those Wolves is going to come back to haunt him.

that's questionable, he help saved Rick life at the very beginning. and he already earned it by helping Daryl and Aaron. With that much walker around the car, one is bound to die.

The big reveal for Season 6!!!

Morgan spent of a few days at a Shaolin Camp and buddied up with some monks!

We have no idea who Morgan was before the world fell apart. I don't have a problem assuming that he may have had some martial arts training, prior to the breakout, which he has had more than enough time to hone and perfect.

Roll season 6!

Imo Rick doesn't need Morgan to help him with his morality. Through this episode we saw Rick change his attitude. He told Michonne the truth and even gave her his gun. Michonne gives it back to him, explaining that if something happens, then it happens, but he doesn't have to make it happen. She still supports him in whatever he decides.

At the end during the meeting Rick doesn't threaten them all to take over, he wants them to decide for themselves. Gabriel leaving that gate open ended up working in Rick's favour. Something happened, but Rick didn't have to make it happen. Once Pete showed up in his state, if they weren't already on board with Rick, they certainly were after that incident.

Rick didn't kill Pete until Deanna said for him to do it. He wasn't out of control, he wasn't making them all conform to his ways. He explained his actions, he told them that they aren't ready to face what lies out there and they had to decide what to do. Deanna agreed to start doing things Rick's way by telling him to kill Pete. There's no safety in a community of you cannot trust everyone who lives there.

Pete couldn't be trusted and perhaps Nicholas and Gabriel aren't to be trusted. However I think that Nicholas and Gabriel had their breakthrough moments at the end of the episode. Glenn had every chance and reason to kill Nick, but instead he helps to bring him home. Gabriel tries his hardest to have Sasha kill him, but receives comfort and sympathy from Maggie. It's Maggie and Glenn that reach out to these 2 people, rather than give up on them. Maggie never revealed Gabriel's conversation with Deanna to anyone and I think this was because she knew how much trouble this would have caused.

Pete on the other hand was given a chance by Carol and instead of leaving it be, he resorted to violence and once he killed Deanna's husband, there was no saving him from that point.

As for Nicholas, I think he just tried to lure Glenn into the woods to kill him. He purposely climbed over the fence in view of Glenn so that he would see him and follow him. He couldn't just kill him within the community grounds, but killing him outside, no one would have known what happened. Most likely would have been torn to shreds by walkers before he died. We actually see how bad Nick is when taking on a walker. He wasn't even confident enough to stab one in the head, he resorted to using the gun, which enabled Glenn to know where he was. If Nick is going to stay alive, he'll need a lot of help to improve his fighting skills.

Seems like the Wolves are indeed the group that was banished from Alexandria. Three people? I guess we'll find out how big they've become. Aaron mentioned how "really smart" one of them happens to be. Just another indication how much trouble Alexandria is going to have next season. Looking forward to it.

I know how much hate there is for Father Gabriel. I dislike him as well. However, I'm guessing he's going to hit a turning point very soon and become adept at killing just like the core group. We've all seen it before... in comics, movies, and even in video games, where a man of the cloth is also a skilled fighter/killer. Just like the writers have done with Carol, I hope to see done with Gabriel.

The wolves who went through the pictures in Aaron's backpack didn't seem to know Alexandria. I don't know if the ex-Alexandrians are in there or not ... but, they didn't seem to be specifically gunning for it until they found the backpack.

Does anything that Pete going off was somehow planned by Carrol? She went there with food knowing what he was and hoe cowardly wife beaters usually are. She threatens him with a knife knowing it would piss him off. At the end when Pete shows up with the sword, Rick moves towards him and Carrol stops him. Almost as if she knows what's coming.

I never realized how bowlegged Lincoln is until I saw him walk down the street after leaving the room Deanna put him in. :lol

Nah, I think she really did want him to check on Tara. She just couldn't resist making him squirm when she was there. The show definitely wanted us to believe that it was Pete witnessing Rick talk to Jessie across the street that set him off.

Oh man, they totally gave us a dawn of the dead homage in the episode. I didn't realize what it was until I saw the scene online that was supposed to be it and knew exactly what scene they were recreating.

So awesome.

I don't know. Luring someone out into the woods to murder them seems like a very "get your hands dirty" approach for Nicolas which seems inconsistent with his cowardly nature.

He's not really a coward when it comes to humans though.. just with the zombie-walkers-biters-roamers-ramblers-thingy's. So it's not really out of character. Especially how he did it (hiding and then popping Glen by surprise).

Not if he's intending to shoot him in the back from the bushes. A quick-draw showdown at high noon would be way out of character ... lying in wait and ambushing him unseen seems cowardly enough. And, missing the shot seems incompetent enough. He can't exactly shoot him inside the walls without getting sent to the principal's office.

He's not worried about getting his hands dirty. He's afraid of a fair fight.

Would anyone here have seriously let Nicholas live in that situation? He got Noah killed, left Deanna's son to die, and intentionally tried to kill Glenn (arguably twice). Glenn has gotten soft. Nicholas is a liability, and doesn't deserve a third, fourth chance. Nobody wants a person like that living in their community. I can't think of one good reason to let him live, I just can't.

he's on the edge of deserving to let go but not as bad as Gabriel. don't know if he'll ever learn to make up for his sins

Great season finale. I was expecting a bloodbath but as the clock started winding down I realized that wasn't gonna happen. Instead this is the setup for a future bloodbath which will only help to build anticipation for the next season, especially once they start shooting and releasing preview clips. Basically it looks like they are soon going to be defending a town under siege. And yes, Rick is going to be fully vindicated once the townsfolks fully wake up to the horrors of what's outside those walls.

Three walkers slipping in, that's nothing. Sure your little walls might be able to keep out the mindless walking dead, but what about the living crazy? What do you do when you have the wolves armed with automatic weapons; playing loud music to draw in untold hordes of walkers; using vehicles as battering rams; tossing over molotov cocktails; scaling the walls with grappling hooks; etc. That's when you're going to want Daryl out in the field gathering intel; armed patrols stationed at every corner; Sasha in the lookout tower with a high powered sniper rifle; Rick and Michonne out of the "constable" getups and carrying firepower; every townsperson armed with at least a blade; reinforced bunkers where the weaker folk and children can go and hunker down for safety; and every single person prepared for the worst.

Civilization is gone. Welcome to hell.

Those town folk seem pretty weak. When Rick dropped that walker on the ground they all looked truly horrified. It's going to take a lot to get them to stand up and fight. Last week when they were outside getting supplies and the walkers came their leader was ready to run and leave saying that's how we handle things. Rick and the group are going to have a hard time turning sheep into tigers.
