Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Anyone who would do what Shane did is an evil twisted bastard just like the character.

Now....that being said...he could've taken the bags first. Considering Otis DID save his life. So...

And yes, survivial...but you know, one can survive, with the other dying naturally. There really isn't anything human about what he did. Period.

But yes, after the first two boring useless episodes, this was just what the show needed. Great writing and AMAZING CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. Thank god. I was worried i'd end up being pissy after every episode.

This one left me satisfied. I even loved that little moment with Dale and Andrea.

But Talking Dead sucks. Shane should've done what he did to Chris Hardwick.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

They aren't just going to find Sophie - they've spent way too much time building up to it. What happens when they find her is going to be some sort of major moment with bigger implications than just 'oh, we found Sophie'. I have three current theories...hedging my best...

Maybe they simply don't find it. It's a moment for the group when they decide to move on without her, knowing that if she isn't dead, they are probably dooming her to death. I think this one has the lowest probability.

Or...

As someone said earlier, she got lost and wandered til she found the school, and was hiding there, seeing what Shane did to Otis. Interesting potential...

Or...a somewhat comic book spoiler since it involves events in the books that we haven't yet seen but that Sophie was NOT originally involved in directly...

She was killed by the zombies but someone from Herschel's farm found her and she's now in the barn, making that discovery even more difficult for Rick's group to bear...

Can't wait til Sunday!

That would be awesome. :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Can you appreciate that it took three episodes to build up to this one?

Not really. I didn't enjoy the last two at all. I feel that the events could've been done in one long episode.

But that's just me. If the show keeps going on from here, writing and character wise, then it's going to be fantastic.

I think theory #2 is the most plausible. They've spent to much time making finding her part of the story so to have it end with them just leaving her and no resolve is just a waste imho. I think them finding her as a zombie at the farm is also plausible but I kinda have a feeling they won't kill her just yet, though that is just a personal hunch.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I watch Talking Dead mainly because I'm a fan of Chris Hardwick, but yeah, the show seems very superfluous. I'd be surprised if it comes back after the break for the second half of the season.

I like this one because I am hoping they still follow that story from the comic.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I'm starting to like the idea of characters disappearing without another mention. Morgan, Merle, and maybe now Sophia. I don't think they have to find her to make her exit useful to the show.
