It was "REAL"? Come down from lala land.
I think Endosickness is saying it can mirror real acts we are seeing on the news - making it more powerful and upsetting.

Yes. The bubble-wrap mentality. I understood.
It was "REAL"? Come down from lala land. .
Then why tell him to come down from la-la land? Do you not think your words or your tone are hurtful?
Why not discuss the idea in question rather than taking a swipe at the person saying it.
Real? When Coral ate that big 'ol can of chocolate pudding and didn't get the squirts, reality on this show went right out the window.

Complete the sentence yourself.
I'm not incensed by this, nor will I stop watching, but I will admit that the scene with Glenn was the first time it was actually difficult to look at the screen.
The rest of your post is pretty much a laugh. You tell me I have no right to point out your naivete because I don't know you, yet you feel you have every right to call others as having no empathy. Here is one more adjective I will apply to your post: hypocritical.
Honestly, all this outrage is sensationalist bull****. Let's talk about REAL ****. ISIS chops people's heads off and posts that **** on the internet. That's real. That happens. And yet, when the Governor lobbed Hershel's noggin off his neck, I didn't see anywhere near this much outrage. There were reaction videos, but there weren't parents groups going nuts about it. ****, Gotham has severed heads all the time and that's a Batman show that children are way more likely to watch than this. It's in an earlier time slot, is not rated TV-MA and does not provide disclaimers for audiences who might, potentially, be offended. At least, I don't think so. So, again, where's the outrage?
I don´t watch Gotham. I don´t know that.
And for ****´s sake...don´t get political, man.
Never did I ignore ISIS, I just didn´t bring it up.
I just mentioned the real pain of something you can a grip on, that is that people getting there heads kicked in at a train station happens on a daily basis.
In my country, that is.
It´s more palpable that ISIS. ISIS is not gone, TWD just showed what can happen to someone you love...15 minutes after they left the house, for example.
It´s the psychological thing, not the physical. You guys get that?
I supposse my rep point came from Jokes&Bats: Anytime, brother.
WTH?
You still argue with the point of physical violence.
Do you not want to get the point of the problem being the psychological side, or do you just decide to block that fact?
Everyone expected that, but you actually SEE a loved one getting bludgeoned.
This triggers thoughts and fears.
You get that?
It's funny that this thread somehow feels like a political debate now, with folks saying how they can't understand how someone thinks differently than they do. Live and let live fellas. I agree that this episode was different than the violence that came before, due to Glenn's involvement, the buildup, and the way everyone had to look on helplessly. So, I do understand why this would affect people in ways other deaths hadn't.
Don't worry though, I'm sure she'll be joining them soon.

It's not the gore and violence, it's the sum total of that episode. It came down to an hour of psychologically and physically torturing people, and it didn't sit well with me.

Telling someone to come down from la-la land is hurtful? Oh my.
