This past weekends episode was torture. I know every episode can't be filled with excitement but how about at least a few minutes.

I feel like the show is getting away from what it is supposed to be " Zombies”!! They don’t appear to be threats anymore but rather secondary to the story line. Seasons 1-3 was pretty much us against the zombies!! The last two episodes could have been taken from the pages of LOST! With only the falling zombies on Dwight to remind us its still TWD

Its not really about zombies though. Zombies are just the landscape.

I think the real problem is how you watch. If my viewing was disturbed by commercials it would lessen my enjoyment too.

Isn't that the point? The outbreak has been going on for a few years now. What remains of civilisation should be getting used to how to deal with zombies by now. If they hadn't they'd be dead already. The focus should be more on how and where humanity goes from here, with zombies more in the background.

Besides how many episodes can you fill where Rick survives yet another horde while another "Token Black Guy" or a pacifist takes one for the team?

At this point the zombie-centric stuff is when I least like this show. The most eyerolling stuff usually happens when it's a zombie-heavy episode - like that kid having to be ''taught'' how to stab a zombie in the head in the previous episode.

:goodpost:

The reason why seasons 5,6 & 7 are the show at it's best; cannibals, wolves, Saviors...:rock

Yeah, Rick's reaction to the Zombie when they're leaving with Glenn and Abe's headless bodies cements that. Zombies aren't the problem anymore.. it's other people.

Its only 4 pages a month in Image Plus right now for 12 months (issues 1-12), but Kirkman has said they'll release them all together later in a single special issue.

Probably will be like the Governor and Michonne special releases they did.

Bring on the whisperers!!

Just don't tickle their tummies!
