Technically its zombies getting peoples blood (by biting them) that turns people into zombies. I'm sure zombie blood would infect someone but isn't it more their saliva and rot thats in their mouths?

Depends on the film. Romero's and O'Bannon's series, you just gotta die, though it's also transmitted through bites. In Dead Alive, a chick was zombified by eating zombie puss by accident. In the Dawn of the Dead remake, the disease was transferred via a scratch. Kirkman did say that the show would be addressing the issue of transmission through zombie gore.

you know what surprisses me about this Tv series. All the ish they get away with. in the first freaking episode the guy shot a little zombie girl and in the last episode we see a fat zombie get split in half and side boob. Are the fCC blind to this show. I mean wow.

Daytime soaps have more nudity. As for the gore, I'm betting it has a LOT to do with the show being on cable and most of the gore happening with zombies vs. happening with humans.

well......to date......that hasn't been a problem for him.............now, in a horde.........i think daryl is savvy enough to lay down the crossbow & go all terminator with guns on them.......

The only problem with the crossbow is ammo and reload time.

The ammo can be reused and even used as close range weapons if the zombie gets close, I'd take the crossbow over the gun.

In real life, arrows don't come out of skulls and bones so easily, let alone reusable. You'd be dead.

how many of you have been considering getting a crossbow now???.......i used to have one ages ago but daryl has inspired me get another..........

he's bringing it back...............

I found one at a thrift store...no ____ing lie. 50 bucks though.

I'd love to have it. It's in pretty alright condition. I think. It's rusted, and old. But still, one interesting find.
