How on earth did sophia get in the barn ? My guess is tht she hid there and was bitten idk. Really interesting.

Really? Are we watching the same show? Cause it was CLEARLY explained when Jimmy runs into the house and tells Hershel "It happened again." Next scene Rick, Hershel and Jimmy go and get the Walkers out of the creekbed. Hense Hershel/Jimmy found Sophia in the same predicament and lead her into the barn with the snare.

Is it weird that upon first viewing I find Shane despicable. Then upon the second viewing I find myself agreeing with him?

Uh, the snare wasn't my point, but nice try. "It happened again." Again being the keyword. They found her stuck in the mud of the creek bed just as they did Louise and overall man. She didn't wander into anywhere being my point. When it happened doesn't matter either because Hershel was never going to tell them. All you need to know is it happened before/previously/prior (hense the word again) And that "before" was Sophia being stuck. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to put the two together.

And yes that line of dialogue explains it all. It's the only reason why that line was even spoke.

First time was shooting Otis.
Second time was shooting the walkers in the barn.

Both times I thought he was a ____.
Both times I reevaluated his actions and decided, "Yep. Dude's right".

O im sorry buddy but i thought they only put family members in that barn hence why i asked how she got in there. But whatever thank you for clarifying it for me though but try not to be rude about it though.

I haven't come to a solid decision on Otis. He murdered him. Does a person ever have a right to sacrifice another's life for their own gain? I'm pretty sure the answer is no. But would I sacrifice my life for a stranger? Answer is no there too.

As for the barn, I don't think he needed to do that. It wasn't his place, and if he couldn't deal with the fear, he's got a car. GTFO Shane. The barn was secure, but more importantly, it wasn't his farm. His need for shelter doesn't trump Hershel's right to do what he will with his own property.

haha, nah I just wanted some action. I was real dissapointed with this season in terms of pace. I thought they dragged out the whole moral implication of whether or not the walkers were human. In the comic they moved on much quicker.

Yeah, Hershel's farm was only a couple of issues, right?

I think the pace would seem faster if this was a movie, and not 35 minute episodes riddled with commercials, once a week. But, I don't think it's going to become an action show at any point. Not more than it's been since it's started, anyway.

Yeah issue wise it was maybe 2-3 issues. A large portion of the story at that time takes place at a prison and im not even sure if they are going to even show that this season.

At SDCC the writer of the comic series said he was pretty much taken out of the equation now, no im starting to see what he means.

I had to agree with Shane on this one. Sleeping next to Herchel's collection of walkers in the barn was an incredibly bad idea. It really shows Herchel's naivete but his compassion as well.
