the third season of The Walking Dead will consist of 16 episodes. Previous season orders were for 13 episodes.

I actually like the deviations and variables. It makes the series fresh and to some extent unpredictable. While I don't think they'll change the major events in the comics, the journeys there will be different. So I think we're safe.

Agree 100%. I love the books, but I really like how the show is making deviations from the source material. It keeps everything new and all the viewers guessing as to what is going to happen whether you have read the books or not.

I agree some change is cool, i hate when something is so close to the source there's nothing to look for,

No disputing that the liberties have been worthwhile, but if pandering to a fanbase causes things to not happen (which otherwise should) then those are liberties being taken for the wrong reasons.

Carl shooting shane, which is happening, just later than it did in the comics. And Carl having a girlfriend since she's been zombified...

I don't think there's anything to worry about. The major events that happened in the comics are happening here too.

Sorry to derail but this kind of has to do with the show.

During the latest SDCC I won a contest to go to LA and have a zombie bust made of myself from the official SFX team (KNB SFX) that does all of the amazing work for the show. So the weekend before Haloween (fitting) I flew out to LA and had a life cast made of me for this and had a studio tour.

Today I recieved a large package at my office and it was this.

I am at home on my lunch hour now so I cant get too into it until I leave the office for the day but if there is interest I can post more photos and photos of the process that led to this.

EDIT:: The glasses are my touch but I might look for a cheap similar pair for the added effect of what I look like.

thanks guys. Yes, it is a little eerie. I got the same feeling I get when I see a dead deer on the road and that right eye is creepy as hell.

For the breaking bad fans, check out the face wounds. My gf directly requested that they do that to me.
