Here is a snipet of a recent interview with Robert Kirkman.

The Walking Dead is coming back on Feb. 12. What can you say about the next batch of shows?
I’ve moved on! I’m not thinking of the Walking Dead right now!

Oh, come on.
Well, we very much come back for the second half of the season following up on all of the questions that the viewers have about the barn situation. What does Hershel know? Was he keeping things from them? Did he know Sofia was in the barn? We kind of hit the ground running from there. It’s very much the catalyst that leads to a lot of cool events.

Cast member Norman Reedus said in an interview that the second half of the season would feature more action than the first.
I will say that the second of the half of the season is somewhat jam-packed and has a lot of kick-ass stuff. So I guess I can confirm that! But, yeah, I actually just watched episodes 11, 12, and 13, all in one night, reviewing some new cuts. And it’s an insane bunch of episodes. There’s a lot of stuff packed in there and there’s quite a bit of cool action stuff. So it is somewhat more faster-paced than the first half of the season.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I'm surprised how good the show has been without Darabont.

Darabont got to work on the first half of this season, or at least a good chunk of it. This second half will all be Frank free.

I enjoyed the first half of S2 for the most part. I hope pt2 ramps things up.

Wonder how many people are gonna _____ when they get to the prison and stay there for a bit.
:monkey1

Probably all the same peeps who complained about the group staying at Hershel's farm for so long. :lol

But what if there's a link to a nudie pic of the actress who plays Maggie?
:naughty

:lol :lol :lol

Hells yeah! :rock

AMC announced today from the Television Critics Association (TCA) Press Tour in Pasadena, CA that the third season of The Walking Dead will consist of 16 episodes. Previous season orders were for 13 episodes. AMC's international broadcast partner FOX International Channels (FIC) will follow the 16 episode order and structure a similar schedule worldwide. The Walking Dead has received rave reviews from countless critics, both domestic and international, who heralded the series as "above all else, The Walking Dead hasn't lost the most important ingredient in its strangely successful recipe: it's thrilling" (The Hollywood Reporter), "...with Dead's riveting cast of characters, the personal dynamics are almost as potent as the gory thrills" (Us Weekly), "The Walking Dead is a feast. Dig in." (The Guardian, UK), "It doesn't even take three minutes to realize that this series is setting standards" (Der Tagesspiegel, Germany).

The series tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse. Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I just hope that with all the success and ratings it doesn't change the direction of the show and the characters. Meaning saving certain characters as opposed to killing them off for the sake of keeping a fan base. They've already toyed with the comics so much it would suck to see this become something related only in name.

That's already happened. Shane should've been looooooooong dead, Sophia should still be alive and Daryl shouldn't even exist. :lol
