Didn't look at it and not going to though I can assume from the overreactions of everyone, one can deduce it's probably a main character.

I take it this wasn't the big spoiler, but thats great news, to know its coming, to know he won't be toned down, and John Hawkes is the man. He's awesome in Deadwood and Eastbound but he's correct that he wouldn't have been right as such a character.
