Yes. Instead of justbkilling him it was far more civilized to take him back to the barn, beat him up, blindfold him and basically terrorize him, debate about it all, and then kill him. :lol

It's more fun that way.

Again, all individual choices that were made and not something I agree with. I doubt those were the intentions, but honestly what does it matter anyway you would have left him to be eaten alive by a horde of zombies.

Yup and without a clue as to my whereabouts and without useful info to give away to his chums. :hi5:

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

During all that talk and discussion Randall could have broke out, hurt Carl in the barn, got a hold of a weapon or who knows what else, putting the entire group at risk.

There's no 911 anymore to call for help and take him to jail. Not leaving him there to die or killing him yourself, puts the entire group in harm by taking him back to the farm. Hershel was right about leaving him. You not killing him just because puts everyone in danger.

He was crippled, handcuffed and under armed guard.

Hey, hey, hey - they fixed his leg first.

Rick should have shot him while he was stuck on the fence... That was the best thing to do as it would have put Randall out of his misery and provided a distraction/snack for the walkers who were surrounding Rick, Glen and Hershel. They couldn't do that though as there would have been too many parallels between Rick/Randall and Shane/Otis.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

The Man had no choice but to kill that guy, he couldn't have walked away because he had to kill him to protect his family. YOU would have walked away and Peeing Guy would have whistled for his friends and you'd both be dead.

But you're main argument has been that by killing the Peeing Guy he lost his humanity.

I agree. :exactly:

And every minute he was there was greater risk to the Group, whether he was healed or not.

Word to mother yo. :lecture

I watched that whole thing.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Kinda like Shane.

The way the finale is looking, it looks like they could use him there for the extra gun, no? Shane was more of a threat to Rick, not the Group.

(I'm no Shane fan but..)

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Yeah...at the CDC....

You're absolutely certain he was trying to rape her? Or was he just drunk, slightly out of line, and stopped his advances after she slapped/scratched him?

Jesus ____ on a ____ing stick. :lol I've said a billion times it's not about the killing it's about the process to reach the killing. I would more than likely have shot Randall between the eyes, but I wouldn't have done it on my own accord (unless threatened), I wouldn't have done it because of a facial expression he made, and I wouldn't have done it just because. I would have done it because the group decided on it and and the process to make that decision was exhausted. He wasn't a threat, they had plenty of time to handle it and they did exactly what they should have done which was discuss it and hold on to what civility they still have. It was a tougher decision to save him and bring him home and do what they did by giving it time and a process.

Okay so let's rewind this. Randall was trying to kill them. Isn't that good enough motive to leave him stuck on the fence to his own fate? I'd argue with all your BS "humanity" talk, the most humane thing would've been to put a slug through his brain right there.
