I am glad they decided to keep Hershel alive, he has become one of my favorite characters on the show.

BTW, a caller called in during talking dead and asked if we would see Meryl, Morgan or Dwayne next season...and Kirkman said he can confirm you will see 33% of them. Which tells me we'll see Meryl, because I think we either see Dwayne and Morgan together or we won't see them at all.

Hershel started out very annoying to me but he has grown on me since the bar scene.

I believe it will be Merle too. I just hope he doesn't ruin the awesomeness of Daryl.

I've stayed away from almost all spoilers and whatnot. She was one that kinda fell onto my lap by accident. It's been very exciting to see her intro. Still, talk about a helluva cliffhanger.

I never read the comics, but Zombies on leashes?!? Friggin-awesome! One hell of an intro and I am happy Andrea made it.

I vote yes. They're excellent and the show's story is already a lot different than that of the comic, so stuff can still throw you for a loop when you watch the show. If anything, I think reading the comic enhances your viewing of the show.

I personally want to stay away. Just knowing in the comic Glenn winds up with Maggie is too spoilery for me. As soon as I would have seen Maggie I would have known and even something so minor would ruin it.

...but I don't know if I can wait. My Compendium 1 is sitting here looking all hot.

yah, its a dilemma for me as well. ie. what if a major character dies and its not evident at all in the current season, then when watching it'll all be meaningless (kind of). Guess I should stay away if I'm concerned about it..but man, Fall is gonna be a long wait.

Hmmm....I hope at least we'd get to see Morgan/Dwayne again in the future on the show (probably season 4 at the earliest). At the very least I'd like to see Morgan again, maybe Dwayne's death can be a story told by Morgan.

The only reason Lori will be around is because of the baby. They kinda have to play that through now, just so we know what will happen. Will it be all fine, will everyone being infected have an effect, is it Shane's? That kid in her gut is her survival card right now.

And either they are going to have to move forward in time a lot quicker than that, what, weeks? so far or else Carl is going to have to go. I thought Sophia missing and Carl getting shot in the first episode was their out on the kids. Lost had to figure out how to get rid of Walt before he got too old. Carl is going to be a similar problem. He'll be in his teens when he's still supposed to be 8-10 yeras old by the show's timeline.

So they say. They've got too much developed in the baby story to just kill it off before its done. And we know Rick is safe. He could have gone away if Shane hadn't died. But you can't get rid of both of them. Not yet at least. I see Rick as the Jack Bauer of the show. Everyone around him can die, but in the end, you know he's the only one truely safe. This show is really his story afterall.

Agreed. I can't see Rick dying until maybe the SERIES finale. At least I know through Glen Mazzara's Twitter that, "If Rick wakes up from a Coma at the end of the show, I have failed as a writer."

Loved the finale.....gonna hate the wait.

Though, I will say, I was expecting a little more from the finale. Too bad it wasnt a 2 hour. I would have liked another death as well, a more shocking one. The two we got were very predictable, especially considering one of whom hardly even existed.

I really think shane should have died in this finale instead of dying when they got overun.
