I really think shane should have died in this finale instead of dying when they got overun.

His death needed more emphasis, I think. As ex-best friends, a personal touch was the best way to go. Offing Shane without proper context would've been a waste of good emotional impact.

Agreed. Daryl was made for this world and he handles it better than Shane.

Shane had way too much emotional baggage and let it tear him down, after which he used the whole apocalypse thing as an excuse to go nuts. If anyone is perfect for the survival lifestyle, it's Daryl. Shane was nowhere near as prepared as he thought he was.

Amazing.

Lori sucks. Sucks to death. Can't wait until she dies. She loses her son every 2 minutes. Worst mother in apocalyptic times ever.

I'm so glad they are finally getting to the best part of the comics with Michonne and the prison. Hope next season picks up as I was rather unimpressed with the writing and acting in this season. This episode ended good though so I have hope.

Loved the finale.....gonna hate the wait.

Though, I will say, I was expecting a little more from the finale. Too bad it wasnt a 2 hour. I would have liked another death as well, a more shocking one. The two we got were very predictable, especially considering one of whom hardly even existed.

yah, its a dilemma for me as well. ie. what if a major character dies and its not evident at all in the current season, then when watching it'll all be meaningless (kind of). Guess I should stay away if I'm concerned about it..but man, Fall is gonna be a long wait.

yea, I feel the same as you do. I just came into this show in this season, but I have no intentions of being spoiled by reading the comics, I love the anticipation.

I don't see Zombies being smart enough to stop attacking and become docile just because the lowerjaw and arms are gone. The virus seems to make them enraged around living people regardless of physical limitations.

Michonne herself had two zombies in tow, her boyfriend Mike and his best friend Terry. Both in shackles and having had their jaws and arms cut off, Michonne mentions that after a while they stopped trying to attack her and their presence decreased the chances of other zombies attacking.

The funny part is I keep think Andrea needs a sword before Michonne showed up. (Never read the comic)
This gives a lot of background on her, and why she carries a sword, but also goes into future things that can also happen in the TV series.

Based on a comic book rather then a Novel, Screenplay or Script. So of course it's going to take a lot more liberties.

Glenn also has a bad habit of pointing that shotgun at his face while sitting in a moving vehicle.

Lol never read the comics so as soon as I saw that I thought for sure he would blow his face off, also daryl mind reading my thoughts on glenn driving

In summary of the season I hated seeing shane go, he was my favorite character, then daryl. I'm glad we found out what was whispered to rick in the season 1 finale, and I hope merle returns as a badass with a hook hand, or something else really cool and threatening... Man what a great show!!
