Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

yeah he's the asian guy dude.

But theres a bigger implication of Glenns death isn't there. Maggie isn't built for that world, AND shes pregnant. They both basically adopted Sophia too didnt they? Well I cant see them living much longer either. Without Glenn I believe they will wallow and die themselves. Rick and Michonne cant carry them like Glenn did, Neither can Andrea. Glenn was important to the remaining group, and I reckon that his death with resonate to the other two

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I'm not a fan of the zombie genre normally.. but I just finished watching Season 1 & 2 of this series & I absolutely LOVED it!! :rock

Just a really well written, produced & performed show - I was immensely impressed.

No surprises that I'm looking forward to season 3 then. :lecture :lol

:hi5:

The Walking Dead is definitely one of the best shows on television at the moment, alongside Breaking Bad and Mad Men IMO.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Did you guys expect them to find Oz? :dunno

Kirkman's always said nobody is safe. Not even Rick and Carl.

It's realistic though. That's the point.

You can be in combat with your BFF from grade-school and the second you turn your head away to range a report, have his head splattered all over you. Here one second and gone the next. I think one of the reasons it works so well, and clearly had such a huge ____ing impact, is because Glenn wasn't the safe choice, nor the obvious one. But the fact that his death is causing a tsunami across TWD fan sites means it was the right choice.

That's not the point. The point is to care. Not just shrug it off.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Thanks for discussing COMIC spoilers in the tv show thread.

A separate thread was created just for the comic where you can discuss all the issues and subsequent spoilers to your heart's content without spoiling it for those of us who have not read the comics up to issue #100 yet.

Thanks for ruining the big death in issue #100. Really appreciate it. Assclowns!

The fact that we're discussing it shows we do.

Because those spoilers couldn't have possibly been about the show right? And then there are posts about Glenn that aren't even in spoiler tags. You're an ass so keep your hi fives to yourself.

Honestly, Pixletwin, that's what the "spoiler tags" are for. And it may very well play into the show. Don't wanna read a spoiler, don't click the spoiler tag. It's that simple. :lecture:lecture:lecture :lol

The fact that you're discussing it in the wrong thread shows you don't.

I know what spoiler tags are. I also know what thread subjects are. This thread's subject is for "The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)". TV Series. Not the comic. :nono Meaning all posts, including spoilers, should pertain to the tv series and not the comic. There is a whole separate thread for the comic where anyone can go and spoil the comic to their heart's content. There were even a couple of untagged posts with a certain character's name in them that suggested something was up. I was thinking that maybe the actor was leaving the show or had spilled some secrets about the upcoming season so I clicked on the spoiler and lo and behold it is a comic spoiler revealing the big death. It pisses me off because people don't seem to have any consideration for other people by posting something like that when it doesn't belong in here in the first place. Hell, if that is going to be the case then I am going to just start posting random spoilers to other movies, tv shows, books, etc that I feel like posting. Don't get upset, just don't click it if you don't want to know.

:lol

Just say to yourself, "Whatever happens in the comics, won't necessarily happen on the show."

Which is somewhat true. :D

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Jenner tells Rick the outbreak was caused by bath salts.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Please do not post comic spoilers in here at all or at least label it "Comic" above the spoiler tag.

Do not insult other members.

Sarah Wayne Callies said in a panel at SDCC - "none of us are safe" - any of them could die at any time and they've demonstrated that they aren't adhering to the comic, especially about stuff like that.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Thanks Dave for clearing up the spoiler issue and I apologize for my part with the insults. Chalk it up to a bad day. I'll make good use of the ignore feature in the future.
