It is a deleted scene. The Vatos only appeared in ep4 from S1. What happened to them and by whom and why is irrelevant now.

Yep. Who killed the Vatos (although a deleted scene) is actually very relevant.

Yep. Who killed the Vatos (although a deleted scene) is actually very relevant.

The dropped story line could have been something as simple as the group making their way back through the city after the CDC goes kaput.

Ah, I see.

That makes me wonder what other story elements have been cut like this. I only read the first year of comics, so I don't really know anything about that gang or if they were even in it. Would be interesting to see where that particular story arch would've gone.

aw Crap man....Those two deleted scenes are so much better than some of the lame episodes we got from season 2,
I kinda wish they gave us just one episode going to where the Vatos were, that clip made me want to watch more about that,
