Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Lol it's still weird tho. The boy wouldn't even know what do do with it.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

Why do they stay in rural Georgia?

Seriously , they have transportation .

Whynot go to a big city or an Island

That always bugs me .

Carry on

Did I miss something? I saw that Carl Obviously has a crush on Beth but I sure never got the idea that they were a couple or anything. Just a young boy with a crush on an older girl, nothing more than that from what I saw!!!

Lots of the roads or clogged with cars (season 2 opener?), gas stations aren't open (gas is harder to get), walkers are everywhere (big citys are the WORST place to go, more people means more people died which means more walkers), islands have little to no resources (Lost had to use the Darhma supplies as a cop out), and basically everything is more difficult/dangerous at this point without any power being on (no air condtioning/heating, electronic devises, power tools, cooking, etc). :pfft:

Dexter killing a guy in an airport, now that has always bugged me. At least Walking Dead hasn't jumped the shark with something that stupid yet :lol

I think Walking Dead has been doing a good job on keeping the post apocalyptic survival realistic as far as a TV show can go I mean. :dunno

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

:lol

"Nothing Happens" is called character development by normal people. Its why we care about someone and feel sad when they finally get taken down by a zomibe.

Can't say there is that "Why do I even watch this show" segment for me. That must be a Dish exclusive :rotfl

I will admit Season 2 had too much 'nothing' while they searched for the girl. It did drag a bit there, but they made up for it after.

Maybe they'll eventually find an island, but rural areas vs big cities has been a central theme of the entire show.

The denser the population before the Zombie outbreak, the denser more dangerous the area after the outbreak. They've done the big city thing and the "herds" are beyond large and already gathered, so they don't even have the luxury of time while they "herd" up.

I read the comic also so maybe I'm also pulling from knowledge base in there, I don't know maybe that wasn't explained as well in the TV series. :dunno

And anyone who thinks the show is intense and hasn't read the comic... you have no idea what you're missing. I literally am a ball of tension after reading each new one. Especially after the baseball bat scene in the last issue that I picked up.

Exactly, and her and her father know he is sweet on her, that's why they smiled about it. It's no big deal and they aren't going to put them together, unless they do a "soap opera" trick and age him really fast and bring in another actor.

And remember, this isn't like it's normal times. Pretty much anything goes these days. A lot of worse things have happened to the kid than possibly being cougared at 11 or 12 years old. I mean......come on! :lol

Maybe its an Anakin/Padme set up - maybe he'll make her a necklace from a piece of dried up zombie.

He didnt ask if she was an angel yet.

Yeah...that was pretty shocking to me too. :(

Well, we did magically get through the winter between 2 and 3, so that helped age Carl some. I thought he was going to die in the opener of last season just because the actors are aging faster than time was taking place (Lost had to get rid of Walt for that same reason) so I don't think they'll have to rapidly age him as long as they keep having jumps in time between season. But nobody is safe but Rick on the show, so he could easily be killed off this year too.

But the funny thing about the Carl romance possibility is that him being the younger one its like "You go Carl!" but had the girl been the younger one it would have been "You scumbag Carl!" :lol

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

I'm pretty sure Carl isn't oging anywhere, by season 15, hes going to probably be 75% cyborg and leading the group. :rotfl

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC ( Spoilers!!)

They should kill off Rick one of these days just because everyone's so sure they won't. It'd be fun if for no other reason than to watch the internet explode.
