But what was so dumb was how easy they killed them. That unit was out there by themselves and they let 5-6 guys take them out? No way the governor would have made it out alive in that situation along with not even one shot being fired at him.

Yeah, ignore that. I have to. There's just absolutely no way a functioning military unit would be that lax in a hostile world like that. They would've been thoroughly briefed or had experienced both walkers and raiders by this point.

And then the one soldier that didn't get shot up runs away with no weapon at all. Come on. That was just plain stupid. Writing. They can do better than that. That whole sequence was so unbelievable.
