The paperbacks are about as current as you can get. Volume 13 comes out next week which will include 73-78.

79 is the next issue coming out.

If I remember correctly my local shop said compendium 2 is due either in December or early Jan.

I hope this is true!

Not unheard of. True Blood for example is a Summer season show meaning that once it ends you wait basically a full year. This one will feel longer due to the six episodes instead of the 13 but it'll be a wait I'm sure.

The good news, we all know: The Walking Dead will return with a full, 13-episode second season. This, of course, is welcoming news after the abbreviated six-episode "season" we are almost done with. But when can we expect to see season two?

Right now, it looks like next Halloween. Yes, it seems that AMC is on the HBO/Showtime schedule. True Blood starts in June. Dexter starts in September. Walking Dead starts at Halloween. The reasoning is twofold, and frankly it makes sense. The new season will start during AMC's Fearfest. AMC will have four original series next year, which is a pretty big step for a network that has only been in the original programming game for a few years.
On the upside, Frank Darabont is likely to write and direct at least one episode next season.

Ugh that sucks but we will have Breaking Bad in between to keep us happy!

Any of you guys have the compendium? Is it readable? The reason I ask is because there is a similar set for Witchblade out there, and the spine is so thick and the pages so condensed, it makes it impossible to hold without fear of the spine falling apart.

This episode was cool. So far, I can't tell if Shane is a ********* or if it was a misunderstanding. I'm guessing *********.

Also, Lori is still a slut.

Yes, if she wasn't sleeping with Shane, I'm sure she'd have been accomodating the squirrel-meat brothers and the rest of the camp.

Considering he's not one to leave his little hole to help others I'm sure he said that to ease his own mind so he wouldn't have to risk his neck trying to save him.

Hopefully by the time season two starts, DirecTV will get off their ass and give us AMC in HD.
