Happens in real life. When I worked for Alderwoods, we called it "skin slippage." Dressing a corpse, often just pulling the hand through the sleeve of a shirt would leave the skin up by the elbow.

There are several diseases that you can catch from rats. Maybe "Potter" was feeding the walkers rats and caught something.

It might be interesting to see if indeed it's a real world infection and it mixes with whatever created the Dead. Maybe make it more fast acting.

I don't think that was him. It's the girls feeding the walkers because they think they're pets. Potter seemed too squeamish to be doing that.

Yep, all the Walkers look gross. But that one in particular looked "Sick."

Well said with the sick reference, that walker looks like he died from the same thing that Potter died from so I wonder if the walkers who were killed by this virus or whatever it is are more hostile and ferocious than a "normal" walker and that's what was meant by the show runners of how the Walkers are scary again this season?

I think so too. I just hope they don't start running. Just make them sick and even more disturbing.
