Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I don't get to shoot very often. (We can shoot on our property because we are on 5 acres out in "the county"). I'm not half bad, though.

(We just did the #3 for Halloween)
My wife may not like to shoot but she has a decent collection of collectible Barbies. Was going to check your collection out on here once but got sidetracked. She hasn't bought one in a couple of years but has some nice ones.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I don't think that at all... Much more likely is...

The doctor told Rick his wife is pregnant. The look on his face changes if you watch it. He's suprised. Then you can tell he struggles with the math. Then seems fine. Maybe I'm reading in to much. lol
I agree with your assessment.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

It's not far fetched. All it would take would be an asteroid hit, hurricane, nuclear detonation. If you're not killed in the initial calamity,
I think the first sentence is pretty much contradicted by every single word that follows it.

Agree with this one aswell, but there is also a possibility that

Jenner saw on some security cameras or something what happened between Lori and Shane. He then decided to warn Rick, and that might ruin some relationships.

Yea it's not like the Earth has ever been hit from anything from outerspace. And them hurricanes are never really that bad are they? And of course everyone on the planet just gets along great with each other. No need to worry about terrorism is there. Why don't you bury your head back in the sand. Wouldn't want you to get a sunburn.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

All I ask for is more episodes. I think six was way too few. I understand why they did it, but I hope for a few more next season.

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Just watched all of season 1 in less than 24hrs on YT. (I don't have cable) I am addicted.

Bring on season 2!

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

Do you guys think it worth buying this in HD for $2.99 per ep on Playstation Store or just wait for the Blu-ray?

$2.99 x 6 is $17.94

the cheapest I've seen the blu ray set was $30, but as few episodes there will be of each season, I may wait for the big box set after it's all over

Re: The Walking Dead - TV Series on AMC

I remember when seasons used to be 22-24 shows a year.

It seems like the big three networks (ABC, NBC, CBS) and FOX and WB target 22-24 episodes per season for the most part. Lost was one of those shows that scaled down their season episode order to tell tighter stories with fewer repeat episodes.

The cable networks (HBO, Showtime, AMC) seem to target 13 episodes per season. Not sure why exactly, but maybe it has something to do with production schedules or budgets? Any board members have any insight into this? :dunno
