Yeah, I loved the smile he gave as Rick was quoting him. It was nice touch to the beginning of the season, especially with that crazy walker chick with the decapitated walker husband head

I cringed at thought of surviving after that first blow to the neck though. What a way to go.

Really enjoyed it and good to see the last of the prison. Next eight episodes should be pretty interesting.

Fire-fight between the two groups was good but seemed kinda odd in spots, like when Daryl is using an empty filing cabinet or a walker for cover. They were shooting directly into the walker (if I saw that right) yet his decaying body was able to stop machine gun fire from hitting Darryl. Cool scene with him taking out the tank and its driver, though.

Like Rick, still, but have to agree with the criticism that he cries too much and in general just seems weak. By this point, bad stuff happening shouldn't be fazing him quite as much as it is.

I gotta say I expected alot more people in Rick's camp to die. I'm shocked that Bob, Sasha, and Beth are all alive.

Bob's not a mole as it turns out. Just a regular guy with a drinking problem that's now 100% medic/ally.

Id like to see a few episodes of the various members of the group scattered. The little girls by themselves looking after Judith or Tyrese looking after Judith.

Anyone watch talking dead's mid-season preview? Kirkman said that it was a scene straight out of the comics. Anyone know? I'm curious too.

Just went back and flipped through my book. Rick and Carl are staying at a house and a couple walkers come to the door. Carl sneaks out the back then does what he did in the preview to get them away from the house.

It would funny if it was two walkers dressed as Jehovas' Witness'.

Let's see.

- Rick and Carl

- Maggie, Bob, Sasha

- Glenn and the bus

- Daryl and Beth

- Tyreese and the girls/kids

- Michonne

That's six groups. The fate of Lilly and Tara are up in the air.

Unbelievable episode and I really think that it was the greatest one hour of entertainment I've ever watched. My emotions were all over the place and I had no clue what was going to happen next. Damn I want more!

Last episode of BSG still holds the greatest television spot for me.
Don't think it'll ever be dethroned.
Speaking of thrones...

Game of Thrones has the best chance.

He doesn't exist in the comics.

Yes...

Bob Stookey*is a character first encountered in Issue 29*of Image Comics' The Walking Dead and is the local town drunk of Woodbury*and a former army medic. He traveled with Lilly Caul, and many other survivors during the early stages of the outbreak, where he eventually joined Woodbury.

:goodpost: exactly my thoughts, it's a good thing we only have to wait for a couple of months unlike in game of thrones.

I'm gonna still say The Red Wedding, but this episode was great. I loved it.

If it stays at this level, it will surpass Breaking Bad.

Hershel got it because the Governor was making a threat. Was Rick going to let the old man die? The Governor wanted to force his hand (and Michonne wouldn't give him the emotional leverage he needed). When it didn't work, two things made him cross the line. First was that he wasn't about to have his bluff called. Second was that Rick did not submit to his demands. Saving face and pure rage equals Herschel with half a neck.

As for Rick being weak, if he had drawn on the Governor he'd have been dead. Or what kind of badass are you guys looking for? What would you have done in the position he was in? His appeal to humanity in the face of being cornered by that maggot took more guts than anything I can think of. If there's someone here with more guts, please enlighten us with how you'd have done it better.

There's more to the character than doppelganging Clint Eastwood. He's not Dirty Harry.

Episode 10, she said, was a bigger test of her organizational talents, as she juggled four different story lines featuring "some of the oddest couplings of groups you've seen" on "Dead.""There was violence, difficulty in dealing with one another, terror. It's a very intimate episode," Brock said. "We see how these very odd groups were thrown together and how they deal with that."
that's why I'm guessing four groups, and not six
