I think Daryl thinks Beth's disappearance is on Daryl. That was why he spent all night running and trying to track them. His collapse is both physical and mental. Everytime he starts to care about someone, he loses them. It will be interesting to see if Daryl ends up joining that new group and killing anything and everything.

I don't remember the character name, but the actor is Jeff Kober. Anyone else think it was his group that took Beth? I thought so initially, but not so sure now.

Was at least part of that group in the house with Rick and Coral?

Well, he is fond of golfing gloves...

That's shocking.:monkey3

From what they showed for the preview of next week's episode (I couldn't tell if it was Lizzie or Mika on the ground, screaming for Carol), I wonder if Lizzie ends up killing Judith, then Carol leaves Lizzie for the walkers.

I don't think Kober's group has Beth. Daryl wouldn't find her that soon. "You're going to miss me when I'm gone, Daryl Dixon."

Lizzie looked like she was hung up in barbwire or something. It made you think Carol just left her there, but previews sometimes makes you think one thing when it's really another. Someone or some people, die next week for sure.

I found some interesting speculation on that. But I can't find the Spoilers walking Dead thread... don't want to post it here

It is not just us. Go online, Search around. See all the freaking buzz about Daryl falling for her the episode created.
You guys make it sound like it is just a couple of us in here... :nono

It's not there. No matter how many people want it to be.

Daryl's a character who has spent his life not being allowed to have positive feelings or show good emotion. Beth allowed him to find something in himself and realize it's okay to care about people and himself. It was hard for him to articulate his thanks, that's all that was. Beth was moved that she had such an affect on him. He cares about her a lot to be sure, and probably even loves her for it. But it's not going to be the touchy-feely kind of coupling relationship some are hoping for. And it's definitely not going to be the stupid **** fan-fic a few others want. :D

It makes even less sense than Michonne and Merle getting together.

As for the rest of the episode, I'm glad the trio ended up staying together. It was suicidal to think a split would be better for them all.

I'm guessing Daryl's going to stay with the group long enough to stay alive and see where they can get him, but it'll probably end when they run across Rick and the dude in the bandanna recognizes him. Daryl will put a shaft through his eye.

Daryl and Beth isn't a far stretch. Especially given...

Comic Spoiler
They've set it up for Carol and Tyrese to potentially hook up, which would be consistent with the comic.

so Daryl is not allowed to ever fall in love? gotcha

Way to miss my point and make up some silly straw man. That's not what I said at all. At. All.
But if you're going to keep arguing against that, not much reason to continue with this.

Seemed like the house was a trap. The first time Daryl opened the door the dog hit the "noise maker line". He didn't bark until Daryl opened the door. The second time the dog was barking, but no noise from the trip line. When Daryl opened the door several walkers were right there on top of the door. Not sure what the point would be of letting a bunch of dirty walkers into that clean house to tear up unsuspecting humans but maybe that is why it was so clean. It wasn't the first time that scenario played out. The scene with Maggie laying between the walkers was really strange. Can't really make sense of that, unless she hoped they would hide her scent until the herd dispersed.

Any sense of foreshadowing with Daryl in the coffin? I can see him going out fighting the group with a bunch of arrows in his chest Boromir style

Seems to me Daryl could sacrifice himself to this group or whatever to save some of the others when they finally meet up. (at least thats what i'm getting from this)

Though I hope he goes out in a blaze of glory, I honestly don't see it happening any time soon.

Cutting open walkers and using their blood to make signs for Glenn. Sleeping on the ground surrounded by dead walkers. Wielding a street sign like it's a battle ax.

Maggie is bad-***. :rock
