I was thinking about it and I couldn't really come up with a reason as to why I love zombies so much. I guess it's the mass numbers of them and how something so weak can become so strong when they come together. I bought the blu ray of this yesterday and I have been watching it like crazy. So this really needs to happen. Would me getting a painted hat head sculpt bring us to the correct number?

Honestly I'm baffled, with how good the show and talent on the project here are I thought for sure this project would take right off, people are wanting a Perry Cox from Scrubs so Rick Grimes to me seems like a no brainer. Get it?

I am going to start sculpting in the next couple of days. I'm still searching for reference but I think I have enough to get going. Please chime in if you have a preference on expression.

Scott, as I said before I think a stern, determined expression will work fine, his goal is survival and finding his loved ones.

I didn't get a chance to pick it up yesterday what with my mother in the hospital, but if I get a chance today I will pick up the DVDs(just came out) and send u a ton of referance pics.

My friend, u may want to get in on a uniform at least right now since were not doing deposits on those yet anyway.

I'm sure Scott will sell a ton more heads once he shows his work, but Kato may only order enough material for the one run of uniforms. Just don't want to see anyone get stuck without an outfit option since in S.1 Rick doesn't really wear anything else except the hospital gown.

Could combine the two. Closed mouth is better, and the brows are very similar.

And will you be doing a neck-less sculpt as Kato requested? He says the oufits fit better when they are neckless.

I'm not on the list yet so my opinion might be moot, but I would actually prefer the sculpt with the neck. That's always my preference for a figure, unless I'm using a muscle body of course.

I think I would prefer a sculpted neck only because Rick isn't that big of a guy to call for a muscle body. Although the sculpted arms on the muscle body look pretty damn good. Is there a way to take the arms off the muscle body and put them on a true type?

I already have my uniform assembled so unfortunately I will need to be taken off Kato's list. Sorry but with so many other projects coming up in the near future I needed to put together something a bit less expensive.

Personally, I prefer the sculpt to have a neck. I also think the magazine reference would be an excellent choice.

Well, Kato fits his clothes to fit an Advanced Truetype, and I think we can all agree Rick needs at LEAST the Advanced Truetype. And if Kato prefers the neckless for his work, I think we should go with it.

Plus I think the Dastan body is perfect for Rick's build actually.

HT muscle torsos aren't all that much bigger than a regular TT torso (at least the Royce/Dastan size), its mostly just the arms. But I do think the Dastan rounds him out nicely. Rick wasn't huge, but he wasn't a twig either.
