So dreamy. :love

Wow, 89% rottentomatoes score with critics but only 52% from audiences and a C- Cinemascore. Definitely not a film for the masses (as if that was ever in question.)

For every person who loved it there is another who said WTF at that ending. :lol

There were people with their mouth open when the end credits started. :lol

I think this thread should be renamed The rushmore223, Jye4ever, Irishjedi, and Khev vvitch appreciation thread.... With special guests ;) ;) :)

I need this film in my Blu ray collection.

:lol

Well said special guest.

I am dying to see this movie again, I can't wait for the home viewings.

I have no reservations calling this movie a masterpiece.

Agreed. All this praise is kind of boring and annoying. Okay, as much as I liked the film I do have a few criticisms. For starters:

Um, well there was...no, wait. Okay I didn't really like how they...actually no. Shoot. I...one thing they definitely could have done better was--dammit I can't do it, I can't! It was too perfect! :panic: :banghead :monkey2

I know, really, couldn't the director have injected a few poorly realized scenes into the film? It's like he tried really hard to make a great film, and just had to go and succeed. Prima Donna! Just has to have everything perfect!

I hate having to explain this movie to people. One guy, a big horror fan, was like "the beginning made no sense!, so she just did that to paint herself and sleep?!"

I was like seriously? It's an old folklore ritual performed by them as a spell to fly. He was like "huh?" Lol.

Once again, with the birth of art house horror movies, and like one of my friend has ingeniously stated...horror movies have now become more intelligent than a portion of their fan base. Lol.

That's because somewhere along the line, horror resorted to appealing to the lowest common denominator, Saw, Hostel, Paranormal Activity, I'm looking at you. Then those movies became what everyone identified Horror as, the standard, instead of the worst examples.
